Description
Claims (9)
- 排気ターボチャージャと排気ガス再循環装置を有し、
前記排気ターボチャージャの排気タービン(3)には、断面の異なる2つの個別の流路(11a、11b)がタービンブレード(8)の上流に設けられ、前記流路に該内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスを供給するために、前記流路(11a、11b)はそれぞれの排気ライン(4a、4b)に接続され、
前記排気ガス再循環装置(14)の再循環ライン(15)が、小さな流路(11a)に割り当てられた排気ライン(4a)と前記内燃機関(1)の吸気マニホールド(6)を接続し、前記再循環ライン(15)には調節可能な弁が設けられ、
小さな流路(11a)に割り当てられた排気ライン(4a)は、調節可能な弁を介することによって排気タービン(3)を迂回するためのバイパスライン(19)に接続される、内燃機関において、
前記再循環ライン(15)の前記弁と前記バイパスライン(19)に設けられる前記弁を共通の調節要素(16)で構成し、
当該調節要素は、前記再循環ライン(15)と前記バイパスライン(19)双方の流れ経路に位置し、3つの位置、即ち、
再循環ライン(15)とバイパスライン(19)を遮断する位置、
再循環ライン(15)を開放及びバイパスライン(19)を遮断する位置、
再循環ライン(15)とバイパスライン(19)を開放する位置、
に切り替えることができ、
前記2つの排気ライン(4a、4b)は、前記排気タービン(3)の上流に設けられるブリッジライン(20)によって互いに接続され、
前記ブリッジライン(20)に、前記小さな流路(11a)に割り当てられた排気ライン(4a)方向への流れのみを可能にする逆止弁(21)を設け、
大きな流路(11b)に割り当てられた前記排気ライン(4b)に、該排気ライン(4b)を、前記大きな流路(11b)又は前記ブリッジライン(20)のどちらかへ選択的に接続する偏向装置(22)を、設け、
前記偏向装置(22)は、前記調節要素(16)により前記再循環ライン(15)を開放した状態で、前記大きな流路(11b)に割り当てられた前記排気ライン(4b)を前記ブリッジライン(20)へ接続することが可能であり、これにより、前記再循環ライン(15)を通した排気ガスの再循環を支援するために、前記小さな流路(11a)に割り当てられた前記排気ライン(4a)の背圧を高めることが可能であることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記調節要素(16)は、前記小さな流路(11a)に割り当てられた前記排気ライン(4a)から前記再循環ライン(15)への分岐点に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記バイパスライン(19)は、前記調節要素(16)から分岐することを特徴とする請求項1あるいは2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記調節要素(16)は、ロータリーバルブを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ロータリーバルブは、回転自在に支持される中空円筒のバルブ本体(24)を有し、
該バルブ本体の外殻には少なくとも2つの連通開口部(27、28)が形成され、
該バルブ本体(24)は、少なくとも2つの開放位置と1つの閉鎖位置の間で調節可能であり、
第1の開放位置において、前記排気ライン(4a)に割り当てられる第1の流通用開口部(25)が、該連通開口部(27)を通って、前記再循環ライン(15)と連通する前記バルブ本体内側に接続され、
第2の開放位置において、該第2の連通開口部(28)がさらに、前記バイパスライン(19)に割り当てられる第2の流通用開口部(26)と連通することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記調節要素(16)はさらに、前記再循環ライン(15)を遮断し、前記バイパスライン(19)を開放する位置に切り替え可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記排気タービン(3)には、タービンの吸気口の有効断面を可変調節するために可変タービンジオメトリ(13)が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変タービンジオメトリ(13)は、前記小さな流路(11a)のタービンの吸気口の断面に設けられることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記可変タービンジオメトリ(13)は、前記大きな流路(11b)のタービンの吸気口の断面に設けられることを特徴とする請求項7あるいは8に記載の内燃機関。
