Claims (11)
- 液晶表示パネル及びバックライトユニットに、駆動用印刷回路基板の電気的信号を印加する軟性印刷回路基板を有する液晶表示装置において;
前記軟性印刷回路基板は、
前記液晶表示パネルのパッド部に接続する第1基板部と、
前記第1基板部に接続されて、前記液晶表示パネルと前記バックライトユニットとの間に位置し、前記バックライトユニットに光を供給する光源素子を装着した第2基板部と、
前記バックライトユニットと前記駆動用印刷回路基板との間に位置し、前記駆動用印刷回路基板に接続される第3基板部と、
前記第2基板部の一端部と前記第2基板部の一端部に対向する第3基板部の一端部とを接続する少なくとも1つの接続基板部と、
が一体に形成されており、
前記接続基板部を介して、組立時には前記第2基板部と前記第3基板部が重畳するが半田付時に前記第2基板部と前記第3基板部が重畳されないような空間が、前記第2基板部の前記バックライトユニットに光を供給する光源素子を装着した部分と前記第2基板部の前記部分に対向する第3基板部の前記駆動用印刷回路基板に接続される部分との間に形成されていることを特徴とする、液晶表示装置。 - 前記バックライトユニットは、
前記第2基板部に装着された光源素子と、
前記光源素子の一側に位置し、前記光源素子からの光を受光する導光板と、
前記光源素子及び前記導光板を支持するモールドフレームと、
を有し、
前記モールドフレームには、前記光源素子の位置する部位に、装着溝が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記光源素子は、複数装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記光源素子は、発光ダイオードであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2基板部には、前記駆動用印刷回路基板から前記液晶表示パネルに印加される電圧を昇圧する昇圧回路が、さらに装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1基板部の厚さは、前記第2基板部の厚さより薄いことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1基板部は単層の導電配線層からなり、前記第2基板部は複層の導電配線層からなることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記接続基板部は、さらに
前記第2基板部の他端部と、前記第2基板部の他端部に対向する前記第3基板部の他端部とを接続する、第2接続基板部を有することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記接続基板部の厚さは、前記第3基板部の厚さより薄いことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記接続基板部は単層の導電配線層からなり、前記第3基板部は複層の導電配線層からなることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置を含むことを特徴とする、携帯用表示機器。
