Claims (9)
- 正極、負極及びセパレータで構成された電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体及び電解液を共に収納する缶と、
前記缶の開口部を密封し、一端に電解液注入口が形成されたキャッププレートと、
前記キャッププレートの電解液注入口を密閉する栓とを含む二次電池において、
前記電解液注入口と前記栓との間に弾性材質の被膜が形成され、
前記電解液注入口は、上部と下部とから構成され、前記上部と前記下部との間に段差が形成されるように前記上部の内径が前記下部の内径よりも大きく形成され、
前記上部の内径と同じか大きい直径を有するボール(ball)が、前記被膜が形成された前記電解液注入口に押し込まれた後に熔接されることにより前記電解液注入口が密閉されていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記被膜は、前記栓の外側壁を連続的に囲むように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記被膜は、前記電解液注入口の上部の内側面と、前記電解液注入口の上部と下部との間にある段差面とに形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記被膜は、フッ素系樹脂またはポリオレフィン(polyolefin)系樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記被膜は、フッ素系ゴム、ブタジエンゴム(Butadiendrubber)またはブチルゴム(Isobutylene−Isoprenerubber)であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。
- 正極、負極及びセパレータで構成された電極組立体を形成するステップと、
前記電極組立体を缶の開口部に収納し、一端に上部と下部とから構成され、前記上部と前記下部との間に段差が形成されるように前記上部の内径が前記下部の内径よりも大きく形成されている電解液注入口が形成されたキャッププレートを含むキャップ組立体を前記缶の開口部に結合するステップと、
前記電解液注入口に弾性材質の被膜を形成するステップと、
前記被膜が形成された電解液注入口を通じて電解液を前記缶の内部に注入するステップと、
前記上部の内径と同じか大きい直径を有するボール(ball)を前記被膜が形成された前記電解液注入口に押し込んだ後に熔接して前記電解液注入口を密閉するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電解液注入口に被膜を形成するステップは、
液体溶剤が積み込まれた積荷機を用意するステップと、
上部と下部とから構成された前記電解液注入口の上部の一端に前記積荷機の焦点を合わせるステップと、
前記積荷機の焦点が合わされた前記電解液注入口の上部の一端に前記積荷機から前記液体溶剤を落とすステップと、
前記積荷機を前記電解液注入口の上部のエッジに沿って移動させながら前記液体溶剤を落とすステップと、
前記電解液注入口の上部に塗布された液体溶剤を乾燥させ、前記被膜を形成するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記ボールを前記被膜が形成された前記電解液注入口に押し込んで前記電解液注入口を密閉するステップは、
前記被膜が形成された電解液注入口の中にボールを挿入するステップと、
前記電解液注入口の中に挿入されたボールを押し込んで栓を形成し、前記電解液注入口を密閉するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項6または請求項7に記載の二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記液体溶剤は、弾性が大きい樹脂またはゴム材質の物質と、その物質を溶解する液体とを含むことを特徴とする請求項7または請求項8に記載の二次電池の製造方法。
