Claims (2)
- 論理ボリュームを再呼び出しするためのシステムであって、
少なくとも1つの論理ボリュームを保持するマウント可能メディアを受け取るように構成された少なくとも1つのドライブ・ユニットと、
前記ドライブ・ユニットにマウント可能メディアを提供するために前記ドライブ・ユニットに動作可能なように接続されたテープ・ライブラリと、
前記マウント可能メディアから受け取られた論理ボリュームを格納するように構成されたキャッシュと、
プロセッサ上で実行するための複数のモジュールを保持するメモリとを備え、
前記複数のモジュールが、
それぞれの再呼び出し要求が実装可能メディアに格納された論理ボリュームを対象とする、複数の再呼び出し要求を受け取るように構成された受け取りモジュールと、
それぞれの再呼び出し要求を処理のためにキュー内に配置するように構成されたキューイング・モジュールと、
少なくとも1つの最適化規則に従って前記キューを再配列するように構成されたオプティマイザ・モジュールとを有し、
前記オプティマイザ・モジュールが、それぞれの再呼び出し要求が単一のマウント可能メディア上に常駐する一の論理ボリュームに対応する、少なくとも2つの再呼び出し要求を前記キュー内で順次にグループ化するとともに、当該少なくとも2つの再呼び出し要求のうちの第2の再呼び出し要求が再配列によって以前に移動された場合には、当該第2の再呼び出し要求の後に当該少なくとも2つの再呼び出し要求のうちの第1の再呼び出し要求が処理されるように、当該第2の再呼び出し要求の状況に基づいて当該第1の再呼び出し要求を処理する、システム。 - 前記単一のマウント可能メディアに対応する前記少なくとも2つの再呼び出し要求が、当該マウント可能メディア上の当該少なくとも2つの再呼び出し要求の物理的場所に従って前記キュー内でグループ化される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
