Claims (6)
- 内燃エンジンのクランクシャフトに設けた駆動スプロケットと、吸排気弁を駆動するカムシャフトに設けた従動スプロケットとの間にチェーンを掛架し、前記クランクシャフトの回転力を前記カムシャフトに伝達するタイミングチェーンドライブシステムにおいて、
前記チェーンの緩み側の前記従動スプロケットと前記駆動スプロケットとの間に、テンショナと可動ガイドからなる張力調整手段を有し、
前記チェーンの張り側の前記従動スプロケットと前記駆動スプロケットとの間に、前記クランクシャフトまたは前記カムシャフトの回転力によって、前記チェーンの走行方向と略垂直な方向に強制揺動される揺動ガイドであって、前記チェーンの張力変動周期中の張力最大値出現時に前記揺動ガイドの後退速度が略最大となり、張力最小値出現時に前記揺動ガイドの前進速度が略最大となるような揺動手段を有すること
を特徴とするタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。 - 前記揺動手段が、楕円形状カムを有しており、前記楕円形状カムが前記クランクシャフトに同軸固定されており、前記揺動ガイドの揺動端部から延設された揺動伝達アームが、前記楕円形状カムに摺接すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。 - 前記揺動手段が、1回転当たり外接点が半径方向に4回往復する四角形状カムを有しており、前記四角形状カムが前記カムシャフトに同軸固定されており、前記揺動ガイドの揺動端部から延設された前記揺動伝達アームが、前記四角形状カムに摺接すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。 - 前記揺動ガイドが、前進方向に弾性部材により予圧されていること
を特徴とする請求項2または請求項3のいずれかに記載のタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。 - 前記揺動手段が、前記クランクシャフトに同軸固定されたクランクギヤに噛み合う第1伝達ギヤ、および、前記第1伝達ギヤに噛み合い前記クランクギヤと同方向に回転する第2伝達ギヤを有しており、前記第2伝達ギヤに同軸固定された楕円形状カムを有しており、前記揺動ガイドの揺動端部に前記楕円形状カムが摺接すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。 - 前記揺動手段が、前記カムシャフトに同軸固定されたカムギヤに噛み合う第1伝動ギヤ、および、前記第1伝動ギヤに噛み合い前記カムギヤと同方向に回転する第2伝動ギヤを有しており、前記第2伝動ギヤに同軸固定された楕円形状カムを有しており、前記揺動ガイドの揺動端部に前記楕円形状カムが摺接すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイミングチェーンドライブシステム。
