Description
図1を参照して、SHGを利用したこの発明の波長変換装置の概略的構成を説明する。この波長変換装置は、波長λ1の基本波光をその半分の波長λ2(=λ1/2)に変換する装置である。波長がλ1の基本波光を発生させるレーザ光源10と、この基本波光を入射させて基本波光の波長λ1と異なる波長λ2の変換光を発生させる非線形光学結晶16と、この基本波光を非線形光学結晶16に位相整合条件を満足させて入射させるために基本波光の伝播方向及び基本波光の光束の位置を調整する光軸調整部30と、を具えている。
図3を参照して、この発明の波長変換装置の光軸調整機能について、順を追って説明する。
図6(A1)乃至(A4)及び(B1)乃至(B4)と図7(A1)乃至(A3)及び(B1)乃至(B3)とを参照して、この光変換装置において実行されるファジイ推論で用いるメンバーシップ関数について説明する。以後、図6(A1)乃至(A4)及び(B1)乃至(B4)の全ての図を指す場合には単に図6と表記する。また、同じく図7(A1)乃至(A3)及び(B1)乃至(B3)の全ての図を指す場合にも単に図7と表記するものとする。

Claims (1)
- 基本波光を出力するレーザ光源と、
該基本波光を入射させて該基本波光の波長と異なる波長の変換光を発生させる非線形光学結晶と、
該基本波光を該非線形光学結晶に位相整合条件を満足させて入射させるために、該基本波光の伝播方向及び該基本波光の光束の位置を調整する光軸位置調整部と、
前記変換光の強度を検出する光検出器と、
該光検出器から出力される前記変換光の強度の値から、ファジイ推論により、前記光軸位置調整部に設けられる複数の調整箇所にそれぞれ対応する調整値を算出する調整値算出手段と、
前記調整値算出手段で算出した該調整値に基づいて、前記光軸位置調整部に設けられる複数の調整箇所を制御する光軸位置調整部制御装置と
を具えることを特徴とする波長変換装置。
