Claims (4)
- (a)モジュールを所定方向より挿入することにより収容するソケットであって、
(b)絶縁性材料から成り、前記モジュールの側面を囲繞する側壁部を備えるハウジング部材と、
(c)該ハウジング部材に装填された複数の端子と、
(d)前記側壁部より内方に突出し、モジュールを挿入方向所定位置に係止させる弾性係合片とを有するモジュール用ソケットであって、
(e)前記端子の各々は、左右に分割されたカンチレバー状の第1接触腕部及び第2接触腕部、並びに、前記第1接触腕部及び第2接触腕部の自由端に形成され、前記モジュールの底面の接点に当接する第1接触部及び第2接触部を備え、
(f)前記モジュールが挿入されない状態において、前記第1接触部の上端は第2接触部の上端より上方に位置し、
(g)前記第1接触部の上端の位置及び第2接触部の上端の位置は、前記モジュールの寸法誤差の下限及び上限に各々対応するように設定されることを特徴とするモジュール用ソケット。 - 各端子の第1接触部及び第2接触部は、同一の接点に対応する請求項1に記載のモジュール用ソケット。
- 前記モジュールが挿入されない状態において、各端子の第1接触部及び第2接触部は、前記底板部より上方に突出する請求項1に記載のモジュール用ソケット。
- 前記モジュールは、側面に係合段部を備え、所定の位置に挿入された状態において、前記係合段部の上面と係合する弾性係合片と前記接点に当接する第1接触部又は第2接触部とによって上下から挟込まれて保持される請求項1に記載のモジュール用ソケット。
