Description
Claims (12)
- 圧延機内のロールネックのテーパ部に使用されるシールであって、
中心軸Aを有する可撓性環状シール体(30)を含み、前記シール体には、半径方向に外向きに延伸する少なくとも1つのフランジ(40)が設けられ、前記フランジには、角度をつけて延伸するシーリングリップ(48)がヒンジ部(50)によって連結されており、前記ヒンジ部の厚さは、前記フランジおよび前記リップの厚さに比べて薄く、前記リップは、互いに徐々に接近して、リム(52)に至る第1および第2の側面(48a,48b)を有し、前記リムは広げられており、前記第1および第2の側面(48a,48b)は角度(α1)を規定しており、前記リムには、第1および第2の外周面(54a,54b)が設けられており、それら外周面(54a,54b)はそれぞれ、前記第1および第2の側面から延びて前記中心軸に平行な基準面P内に位置する外縁(56)にて交わり、この外縁(56)がこれを取り囲んで位置する静止した円筒内周面に接してシールしており、
前記第1の側面(48a)と前記第1の外周面(54a)とが角度(α5)で接合し、
前記第2の側面(48b)と前記第2の外周面(54b)とが角度(α6)で接合し、
前記リップの前記第1の側面(48a)において、前記第1の側面(48a)と前記第1の外周面(54a)との接合部から内側に間隔をあけた位置に、隆起部(62)がさらに設けられ、
前記フランジ(40)および前記リップ(48)に応力がかからない状態で、前記リップの前記第2の側面(48b)が、前記基準面Pに対して角度(α3)で配置され、
前記フランジ(40)および前記リップ(48)に応力がかかっていない状態で、前記リップの前記第1の側面(48a)が、前記基準面Pに対して角度(α2)で配置されている、
シール。 - 前記角度(α1)が7°である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α2)が50°である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記フランジおよび前記リップに応力がかからない状態で、前記リップの前記第2の側面が、前記基準面Pに対して39°〜47°の範囲内の角度(α3)で配置されている、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記第1および第2の外周面の間に、90°〜106°の角度(α4)が形成されている、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α4)が98°である、請求項5に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α5)が72°である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α 6 )が157.5°〜168.5°の範囲内である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α6)が163°である、請求項8に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α3)が43°である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記角度(α 5 )が66.5°〜77.5°の範囲内である、請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記隆起部が半円形断面を有するリブから成る、請求項1に記載のシール。
