Description
現代の医療技術は、血管の通り道に導入しやすいようにするために、小さなサイズに圧縮するように設計され、次に拡張して通り道の壁に接触することができるさまざまな医療装置を製作している。このような装置には、Simonに付与された米国特許第4,425,908号に示されたフィルタなどの血餅フィルタが挙げられる。Simonのフィルタは永久フィルタであり、一旦移植されると、適切な位置にとどまるように設計されている。しかし、Irieに付与された米国特許第5,370,657号およびSimonらに付与された米国特許第5,669,933号によって開示されているように、回収可能フィルタも開発されてきた。
本発明の主な目的は、血管内に物体の移植、再配置又は摘出を行うために、体内の血管内で作用する新規かつ改良型の把持装置を提供することにある。
ここで図面を参照すると、一般に10で示される本発明の把持装置は、その中を通って延在している中央チャネル14を有する細長い可撓性の管であることが好ましい細長い可撓性の支持本体12を含む。チャネル14は体内の血管中の所望の位置まで把持装置を誘導するためのガイドワイヤを受容するのに適合している。
本発明の把持装置は、医療装置または他の物体の移植、再配置または摘出を行うために、体内の血管内で用いられることができる。把持装置は、把持する物体を中央に配置するように作用するため、体内の血管から完全に回収することなく、角度方向に位置ずれしたフィルタまたは他の医療ユニットを効果的に再配置するために用いられてもよい。把持装置はまた、これらの物体に接近し、把持部材22の間から外側に通過しないようにするため、体内の血管から腎石などの小さな物体を除去するためにも有用である。
Claims (9)
- 移植された医療装置を把持する把持装置(10)であって、
長手軸及び外部先端を有する細長い支持本体(12)と、
前記長手軸の周囲に径方向へ離間して設けられている複数の把持部材(22,58)であって、各々の前記把持部材が、前記支持本体に固定される近位端および前記支持本体の外部先端から離隔された遠位端を有し、柔軟である各々の前記把持部材には、その遠位端が前記長手軸から径方向に離隔する非拘束位置と、当該遠位端が該非拘束位置よりも径方向内側となる拘束位置と、があり、少なくとも1つの前記把持部材における前記遠位端は、前記長手軸に向かって内側に突出するフック(30,60)を有している、複数の把持部材と、
外面と、前記移植された医療装置を前記把持部材(22,58)の間において中央寄せする内面とを有しており、前記外面の第1の部分は前記把持部材(22,58)に固定され、前記外面の第2の部分は前記把持部材よりも内側に配置されている、可撓性ライナ(34)と、
を具備する把持装置。 - 前記複数の把持部材は、前記ライナ(34)を拡張し、前記移植された医療装置を中央寄せするループ形部分(22)を含み、前記フック(30,60)を有する前記少なくとも1つの把持部材は、前記移植された医療装置を確実に把持する複数のワイヤシャフト(58)を含み、前記フック(30,60)は、それぞれの前記ワイヤシャフト(58)の遠位端に形成されている、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
- 前記複数のループ形部分は、それぞれが、その遠位端でループを形成し、近位端で2つの端部を形成するように輪にされた細長い一定長さの可撓性材料から形成され、前記端部が前記支持本体に取付けられている、請求項2に記載の把持装置。
- 前記支持本体に取付けられて当該支持本体を囲んでいる拘束ユニット(50)をさらに含み、前記拘束ユニットは前記支持本体に対して軸方向に移動可能であり、前記把持部材と係合して当該把持部材を非拘束位置から拘束位置まで移動させる、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
- 前記支持本体(12)は細長い可撓性の中央管であり、前記拘束ユニット(50)は前記中央管の周囲にある外管である、請求項4に記載の把持装置。
- 前記可撓性ライナはポリマーから形成されている、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
- 前記可撓性ライナ(34)は、前記長手軸に対して第1の角度をなす外側部分(38)と、前記長手軸に対して前記第1の角度よりも大きい第2の角度をなす内側部分(36)とを有している、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
- フック(30,60)を有している前記少なくとも1つの把持部材は、径方向に対向する少なくとも2つの把持部材を含み、前記径方向に対向する把持部材のそれぞれの遠位端に前記フック(30,60)が形成されている、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
- 非拘束位置にある前記把持部材(22,58)は、前記長手軸に対して45°未満の第1の角度でその近位端から遠位端まで外側に角度をなし、前記可撓性ライナ(34)は、前記把持部材の遠位端に接続されかつ前記第1の角度に実質的に等しい角度で前記長手軸に対して傾斜する、当該可撓性ライナの開口端の近傍にある第1の部分(38)と、前記第1の角度より大きい前記長手軸に対する角度で前記第1の部分から前記支持本体(12)の前記外部先端まで延在する第2の部分(36)と、を有し、前記把持部材が前記第2の部分から離隔される、請求項1に記載の把持装置。
