Description
同時に表示可能な情報の表示画像数に応じて、設けられた複数の光源と、
前記複数の光源の駆動制御を行う制御部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記複数の光源の各光量を、対応する情報の表示画像を基に変更することを特徴とするものである。
前記複数の各表示方向に対して、前記画像形成部から出射された表示画像の光を分離することにより、前記各表示方向において対応する情報の表示画像を視認させる画像分離部を備えるとともに、
前記制御部には、前記複数の光源の駆動制御を互いに独立して行う点灯制御部と、
入力された画像信号に基づき前記画像形成部の駆動制御を行うとともに、同時に表示する情報の各表示画像の輝度情報を対応する画像信号から取得し、取得した輝度情報を基に前記各光源の光量を変更させる指示信号を前記点灯制御部に出力する表示制御部が設けられていることが好ましい。
前記表示制御部は、前記クロストークレベル判別部が判別したクロストークレベルに基づいて、前記点灯制御部に前記指示信号を出力することが好ましい。

を用いて求めることが好ましい。
上記(1)式において、"Z"は、明るい方の表示画像であると抽出した左側画像P2の周辺部P2bの輝度値である。また、"K"は、周辺部P2bの漏れ光により右側画像P1'の周辺部P1b'で生じるクロストークによる輝度上昇率(%)を示す係数である。また、"Y"は、右側画像P1(右側画像P1'の中央部P1a')の輝度値である。
Claims (6)
- 表示面から複数の表示方向に対して、複数の情報を同時に表示可能に構成された表示装置であって、
同時に表示可能な情報の表示画像数に応じて、設けられた複数の光源と、
前記複数の光源の駆動制御を行う制御部を備え、
前記制御部には、前記複数の光源の駆動制御を互いに独立して行う点灯制御部が設けられるとともに、
前記制御部には、同時に表示する複数の表示画像の輝度情報を用いて、クロストークレベルを判別するクロストークレベル判別部を含んだ表示制御部を具備し、
前記表示制御部は、前記クロストークレベル判別部が判別したクロストークレベルに基づいて、前記点灯制御部に前記指示信号を出力し、
前記制御部は、前記複数の光源の各光量を、前記クロストークレベルを基に変更することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記光源からの光が入射されるとともに、入射された光を用いて情報の表示画像を形成し、形成した表示画像に対応する光を出射する画像形成部と、
前記複数の各表示方向に対して、前記画像形成部から出射された表示画像の光を分離することにより、前記各表示方向において対応する情報の表示画像を視認させる画像分離部を備えるとともに、
前記表示制御部は、入力された画像信号に基づき前記画像形成部の駆動制御を行うとともに、同時に表示する情報の各表示画像の輝度情報を対応する画像信号から取得し、取得した輝度情報を基に前記各光源の光量を変更させる指示信号を前記点灯制御部に出力する請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記クロストークレベル判別部は、同時に表示する情報の各表示画像の輝度情報を対応する画像信号から取得したときに、取得した輝度情報から最大の輝度をもつ表示画像を抽出するとともに、抽出した表示画像の輝度情報と他の各表示画像の輝度情報とを用いて、前記抽出した表示画像の、前記他の各表示画像に対するクロストークレベルを判別する請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記クロストークレベル判別部は、前記抽出した表示画像の輝度値をZとし、前記他の各表示画像において、前記抽出した表示画像のクロストークによる輝度上昇率を示す係数をKとし、前記他の各表示画像の輝度値をYとしたときに、クロストークレベルXTを次の(1)式
XT=Z×K÷Y ――(1)
を用いて求める請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - 前記画像形成部と前記画像分離部とが、一体的に構成されている請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記画像分離部には、前記画像形成部から出射された表示画像の光を透過させる透過部と、当該光を遮光する遮光部とを備えた視差バリアが用いられている請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
