Claims (5)
- 可撓性媒体を取り扱う、互換的で再位置決め可能なモジュール形式の装置であって、
装置に入る可撓性媒体が通る入り口モジュールと、
前記可撓性媒体が主通路に沿って通る少なくとも1つの主通路モジュールと、
前記可撓性媒体が、選択的に副通路に沿って通る少なくとも1つの副通路モジュールとを備え、前記副通路は、前記可撓性媒体が前記主通路と前記副通路との間を移送されるように前記主通路と通じ、且つ、前記主通路の一部と平行に進んで水平方向に重なり合う領域において、2倍以上の幅の通路を与えており、
前記副通路及び前記主通路からの可撓性媒体が合流される出口モジュールを含んでおり、
前記副通路は、1又はそれ以上の前記可撓性媒体を一時的に格納するためのバッファとして働くことを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、前記主通路モジュールが、少なくとも第1及び第2の角度的に離間された軸に沿って媒体を移動させるように構成されており、前記第1及び第2の角度的に離間された軸は、前記主通路に沿って及び前記副通路に沿って可撓性性媒体が通る平面に存在する、ことを特徴とする装置。
- 可撓性媒体を搬送する方法であって、
可撓性媒体を、前記可撓性媒体が主通路に沿って通る少なくとも1つの主通路モジュールに沿って入り口モジュールから搬送し、
前記主通路と、前記可撓性媒体が選択的に副通路に沿って通ることができる副モジュールとの間で、前記可撓性媒体を選択的に搬送し、ここで、前記副通路は、前記主通路の一部と平行に進んで水平方向に重なり合う領域において、2倍以上の幅の通路を与えるものであり、
前記副通路及び前記主通路からの前記可撓性媒体を選択的に合流させ、
合流された可撓性の媒体を出力する、
ことからなり、
前記副通路は、1又はそれ以上の前記可撓性媒体を一時的に格納するためのバッファとして働く方法。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の装置において、前記副通路は、分岐機能、挿入機能、及び/又は、再スケジューリング機能を提供する装置。
- 請求項3に記載の方法において、前記副通路は、分岐機能、挿入機能、及び/又は、再スケジューリング機能を提供する方法。
