Description
図1に示すように、本実施形態の電池モジュール50は、3個の組電池を備え、これらの組電池1が直列に接続されている。
次に、本実施形態の電池モジュール50の組立手順について、組電池1の組立手順を中心に説明する。なお、組立前に、正極端子ブスバ5、負極端子ブスバ6、単電池間ブスバ7およびコネクタ付き電圧検出線用リード線4は中枠3に固定されており、コネクタ付き電圧検出線用リード線4のリード線部は中枠支持部10および中枠保持部30のリード線固定部12に固定されていると共に、棒状圧着端子9は圧着端子嵌合部8に嵌合されており、中枠3は正極端子ブスバ5、負極端子ブスバ6、単電池間ブスバ7およびコネクタ付き電圧検出線用リード線4を有するアセンブリないしユニットとして部品管理がなされている。
次に、本実施形態の電池モジュール50の作用等について、組電池1の作用等を中心に説明する。

Claims (17)
- 一端が正極、他端が負極の単電池を複数保持する枠体を備えた組電池であって、前記枠体は、第1の外枠と、中枠と、第2の外枠とを有し、前記中枠の両側に前記複数の単電池が配設され、該単電池を前記中枠との間で挟むように、一方の側に第1の外枠、他方の側に第2の外枠が配置されて該第1の外枠と第2の外枠とが前記中枠に結合されており、前記中枠に、前記単電池を電気的に接続するための端子ブスバおよび単電池間ブスバと、前記単電池の電圧を検出するための電圧検出用リード線とが固定されていることを特徴とする組電池。
- 前記第1の外枠と前記第2の外枠とは同一形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組電池。
- 前記枠体は、前記単電池の正、負極端部に当接する2つの保持部と該保持部間の間隔を画定する支持部とを有することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の組電池。
- 前記第1の外枠および前記第2の外枠の保持部にはそれぞれ第1の嵌合穴および第1の突起が形成されており、前記中枠の保持部には前記第1の嵌合穴に嵌合する第2の突起および前記第1の突起に嵌合される第2の嵌合穴が形成されており、前記第1および第2の突起がそれぞれ前記第2および第1の嵌合穴に嵌合することで前記第1の外枠と前記第2の外枠とが前記中枠に結合されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の組電池。
- 前記第1の突起が前記第2の嵌合穴に嵌合する方向と前記第2の突起が前記第1の嵌合穴に嵌合する方向とが直交する方向であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組電池。
- 前記電圧検出用リード線は、前記中枠の支持部に沿って配線されており、該中枠の支持部に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記端子ブスバと前記単電池間ブスバとは、前記中枠の保持部に固定されていることを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記電圧検出用リード線は、前記中枠の保持部に固定された端子ブスバと単電池間ブスバとに接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記電圧検出用リード線には先端が棒状または円柱状をなす圧着端子が接続されており、前記端子ブスバおよび前記単電池間ブスバには前記圧着端子を保持するための嵌合部が形成されており、前記電圧検出用リード線と前記端子ブスバおよび前記単電池間ブスバとは、前記圧着端子と前記嵌合部とを塑性変形させて接続されたことを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記保持部は、前記単電池の正負極端の面位置を画定するための位置決め部を有することを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記単電池は円柱状であり、前記保持部は前記単電池の端部周面に当接する円弧状の当接部を有することを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記当接部には接合材を充填するための溝部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の組電池。
- 前記当接部に形成された溝部は、前記当接部の円弧状に沿う方向に形成された第1の溝部と、前記第1の溝部に直角に交差する方向に形成された第2の溝部とを有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の組電池。
- 前記単電池は前記一端および他端を除く側面が絶縁性の被覆材で被覆されており、前記端子ブスバと前記単電池間ブスバとは前記中枠の保持部に固定され前記単電池の正極および負極のいずれか一方に接合されており、前記保持部は前記単電池の端部側面に当接する当接部を有することを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項13に記載の組電池。
- 前記中枠に固定された端子ブスバは、雄ネジ部または雌ネジ部を有していることを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項14に記載の組電池。
- 前記第1の外枠および前記第2の外枠には、位置決めないし固定用の穴または切り欠き溝部が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項15のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
- 前記電圧検出用リード線の一方にコネクタが取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項3ないし請求項16のいずれか1項に記載の組電池。
