Claims (9)
- 孔をそれぞれに有する平行な複数のシートを、その互いの孔を同軸的に且つ前記シートの金属材の常温流れによって、それら複数のシートを互いに接合させるためのクリンチ型留め金具であり、上端に頭部を設け且つ下端にエンドキャップを設けた軸を有する前記クリンチ型留め金具において、
前記頭部が、上側の平面を成す第1のディスプレイサーであり且つこの留め金具で最大径であり、
前記第1のディスプレイサーより前記下端の側の軸に且つ前記第1のディスプレイサーの直下の軸に、第1の直径を有する第1のアンダーカット溝を形成し、
前記第1のアンダーカット溝より前記下端の側の軸に且つ前記第1のアンダーカット溝の直下の軸に、第2のディスプレイサーを設け、
前記第2のディスプレイサーの直径が、前記第1のディスプレイサーの直径より小さい第2の直径を有し、
前記第2のディスプレイサーより前記下端の側の軸に且つ前記第2のディスプレイサーの直下の軸に、第2のアンダーカット溝を形成し、
前記第2のアンダーカット溝より前記下端の側の軸に且つ前記第2のアンダーカット溝の直下の軸に、エンドキャップを設け、
前記エンドキャップが前記第2のディスプレイサーよりも小さい直径を有し、且つ前記エンドキャップの前記下端の側の下面が平面を成すことを特徴とする留め金具。 - 対向する平坦上面と平坦下面とを含む請求項1記載の留め金具。
- 前記平坦上面と平坦下面が円形である請求項2記載の留め金具。
- 2つの金属シートを互いに対向させて接合させる請求項1記載の留め金具と;
第1の孔を有しその側壁が留め金具の第1のアンダーカット溝のみを実質的に全て占めるようにした第1の平坦シートと;
前記第1のシートと対面関係で接合され、第1のシートの第1の孔よりも小さな径で、かつ、この第1の孔と同軸の第2の孔を有する第2の平坦シートと;
を具備してなり;
前記第2の孔が前記第1の孔よりも小さな径のもので、その側壁が留め金具の第2のアンダーカット溝のみを実質的に全て占めるようになっていることを特徴とするアッセンブリー。 - 留め金具の上端面が前記第1のシートの上面と同一平面を形成し、留め金具のエンドキャップの下端面が前記第2のシートの下面と同一平面を形成している請求項4記載のアッセンブリー。
- 前記第1の孔および第2の孔が円形である請求項5記載のアッセンブリー。
- 前記第2の孔が第2のシート中の盲穴である請求項4記載のアッセンブリー。
- 前記留め金具の第1のアンダーカット溝が十分な径のものであり、それが第1のシートの材料で完全に満たされていない状態であり、それにより該留め金具と、該シートとの間の相対的回転動作を提供している請求項4記載のアッセンブリー。
- 前記第1および第2のアンダーカット溝の双方が十分な径のものであり、それがそれぞれ、前記第1および第2のシートの材料で完全に満たされていない状態にある請求項8記載のアッセンブリー。
