Description
本発明は、自動車の排気系の空気噴射システムへの空気流量を計算する方法に関する。
図6は、システム圧力のみの関数とした場合、多くの、コンピュータメモリに収納された空気流量に対するエンジン空気流量の変動は広範囲なものであり、システム圧力脈動が同様に考慮されるときには、多くの、コンピュータメモリに収納された空気流量に対するエンジン空気流量の変動は、かなり狭いものとなっていることを示している。
図8は、システム圧力脈動データを使用して空気噴射流量値を計算する際に行われるステップを示すフローチャートである。
Claims (4)
- 触媒コンバータを有する自動車の排気系に二次空気を噴射する方法であって、
空気噴射システムを提供するステップと、
該空気噴射システムは、加圧空気源と、前記加圧空気源からの加圧空気を前記自動車の排気管に導くための導管と、該導管内の空気流量割合を制御するための前記導管内における可変流量弁とを備えており、
前記触媒コンバータの上流側の位置で、前記可変流量弁を通じて前記空気噴射システムの前記導管からの加圧空気を前記排気管に噴射するステップと、
空気噴射システム空気圧データを採取するステップと、
空気噴射システムの圧力脈動データを採取するステップと、
エンジン吸気量データの関数として前記空気圧データから、少なくとも1つの空気噴射流量値を計算するステップと、
エンジン吸気量データの関数として前記空気圧データから計算された唯一の空気噴射流量値が、存在するか否か決定するステップと、
エンジン吸気量データの関数として前記空気圧データから計算された唯一の空気噴射流量値が、存在しない場合には、エンジン吸気量データの関数として前記空気噴射システムの圧力脈動データから、唯一の空気噴射流量値を計算するステップと、
前記唯一の空気噴射流量値を伝達するステップと、
前記唯一の空気噴射流量値の関数として、前記可変流量弁を通じて前記排気管への前記空気流量割合を制御するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記空気噴射システムの圧力脈動が、経過時間における空気噴射システム圧力と平均化された空気噴射システム圧力との差に関連して計算される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 可変流量弁を提供するステップが、リード弁を提供することによって達成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記加圧空気源と前記可変空気流量弁との間の導管にオンオフ電磁弁を提供するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
