Claims (11)
- 内燃エンジンを作動させるための方法であって、
一次燃料をエンジンの主燃焼室に導入するステップと、
パイロット燃料をエンジンの主燃焼室に導入するステップと、
エンジン作動負荷を決定するステップと、
エンジン作動負荷に対応する情報を受信するステップと、
それに応答して、主燃焼室内のパイロット燃料の均質な分布に基く、所望のスパークプラグ点火タイミングを決定するステップと、
スパークプラグにより、所望のスパークプラグ点火タイミングで一次燃料およびパイロット燃料を点火するステップと、
を含む方法において、
パイロット燃料のオクタン価が一次燃料のオクタン価よりも低く、燃焼室に導入されるパイロット燃料が、組み合わせられた一次燃料およびパイロット燃料の合計エネルギの0.5%以下であることを特徴とする方法。 - 一次燃料およびパイロット燃料の比較的均質な混合気を生成するように、燃焼室内で一次燃料およびパイロット燃料を混合するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 一次燃料が天然ガスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- パイロット燃料が潤滑油であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- パイロット燃料が燃焼室内に直接噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- パイロット燃料が、燃焼室に導入される前に吸気管路内にポート噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 一次燃料が、燃焼室に導入される前に吸気管路内に導入されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 一次燃料とパイロット燃料とが、それぞれ、吸気管路内に導入され、またターボ過給機コンプレッサの上流で噴射されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- スパークプラグ点火タイミングが、NOxエミッション量の関数として決定される請求項1に記載の方法。
- スパークプラグ点火タイミングが、決定されたエンジン作動負荷に関するNOxのマップから決定される請求項9に記載の方法。
- エンジン作動速度を決定するステップと、スパークプラグ点火タイミングをエンジン作動速度の関数として決定するステップとをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
