Claims (10)
- 自動車の適応的な車両間隔制御および速度制御において,右側通行又は左側通行かを認識する通行方向認識方法であって:
自車両(1)で検出された,自車両(1)に対する対象(3,5,6,7)の相対速度,自車両長手軸(24)に対する対象(3,5,6,7)の側方の変位(横変位q1,q2,q3,q4),および自車両(1)の速度(v)が、適応的な車両間隔制御器および/または速度制御器に供給され,
前記対向して来る移動対象(3)が,自車両長手軸(24)に対して左側の横変位(q3)を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,右側の横変位(q3)を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識され,
前記停止している対象(5)の横変位(q1,q2)の絶対値が走行車線幅よりも小さいとき,前記停止している対象が,自車両長手軸(24)に対して右側の横変位を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,左側の横変位を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識され,
右側通行か左側通行かに関する結果が,相互に妥当性検査され,右側走行と左側走行について検出された変化が、予め定められた期間の間、確実に認識された場合に、新たな右側走行または左側走行の通行方向が表示されることを特徴とする,通行方向認識方法。 - 前記相対速度が負であり,該相対速度の絶対値が自車両の速度の絶対値よりも大きい場合,対向して来る移動対象が認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記相対速度の絶対値が自車両の速度の絶対値とほぼ等しい場合に,前記停止している対象が認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1または2に記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記相対速度が正である場合,前記自車両と同方向に移動するより高速の対象が認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記自車両と同方向に移動するより高速の対象が,自車両長手軸に対して左側の横変位を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,右側の横変位を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記相対速度が負であって,かつ,前記相対速度の絶対値がゼロと自車両の速度の絶対値との間にある場合に,自車両と同方向に移動するより低速の対象が認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記自車両と同方向に移動するより低速の対象が,自車両長手軸に対して右側の横変位を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,左側の横変位を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識されることを特徴とする,請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 前記認識された通行方向は,表示装置を介して,運転者に伝えられることを特徴とする,請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の通行方向認識方法。
- 自動車の適応的な車両間隔制御および速度制御において,右側通行又は左側通行かを認識する通行方向認識装置であって:
自車両(1)に対する対象の相対速度,自車両長手軸に対する対象の側方の変位(横変位),自車両の速度を検出する手段を備え,
前記自車両(1)に対する対象(3,5,6,7)の相対速度,自車両長手軸(24)に対する対象(3,5,6,7)の側方の変位(横変位q1,q2,q3,q4),および自車両(1)の速度(v)を利用して,
前記対向して来る移動対象(3)が,自車両長手軸(24)に対して左側の横変位(q3)を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,右側の横変位(q3)を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識され,
前記停止している対象(5)の横変位(q1,q2)の絶対値が走行車線幅よりも小さいとき,前記停止している対象が,自車両長手軸(24)に対して右側の横変位を有している場合,右側通行であることが認識され,左側の横変位を有している場合,左側通行であることが認識され,
右側通行か左側通行かに関する結果を相互に妥当性検査する手段(22)を備え,右側走行と左側走行について検出された変化が、予め定められた期間の間、確実に認識された場合に、新たな右側走行または左側走行の通行方向が表示されることを特徴とする,通行方向認識装置。 - 前記相対速度および横変位を検出する手段は,レーダーセンサ,レーザーセンサ,超音波センサ,ビデオセンサよりなる群から選択された1または2以上の装置であることを特徴とする,請求項9に記載の通行方向認識装置。
