Description
本発明に係る有機汚染物質の分解方法においては、少なくとも過硫酸イオン、過酸化水素、及び鉄系触媒(鉄化合物)の三種の物質を存在させた条件下で、有機汚染物質を分解し、これにより、予想以上の優れた分解効果が得られる。このような優れた分解効果が得られるメカニズムは完全には明らかになっていないが、以下のような原理によると想定される。
容積60mlのバイアル瓶にPCE濃度1mg/kgとなるよう作成した模擬汚染土壌20gを充填し、純水6mlを添加して、必要であれば硫酸を用いpH調整をして”テフロン(登録商標)”栓及びアルミシールで密閉した。そこに、硫酸第一鉄・七水和物水溶液、過硫酸ナトリウム水溶液、35%過酸化水素水溶液を用いて、振とうさせながら鉄原子、過硫酸イオン及び過酸化水素の順で表1に示した濃度となるようにマイクロシリンジにて添加し、1日後、3日後、10日後のバイアル瓶内ヘッドスペース部のPCE濃度を、ガスタイトシリンジで密閉状態を保ちながら採取してガスクロマトグラフィで測定した。
Claims (3)
- 有機塩素化合物からなる有機汚染物質に汚染された汚染物に対して、少なくとも過硫酸イオン、過酸化水素、及び鉄系触媒の三種の物質を、鉄系触媒、過硫酸イオン及び過酸化水素の順で添加して存在させた条件下で、前記有機汚染物質を分解することを特徴とする有機汚染物質の分解方法。
- 過硫酸イオンを、その添加モル量が鉄系触媒が含有する鉄原子としての添加モル量に対して当量以上となるように添加し、
過酸化水素を、その添加モル量が鉄系触媒が含有する鉄原子としての添加モル量に対して当量以上、かつ、過硫酸イオンの添加モル量について当量以上となるように添加することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機汚染物質の分解方法。 - 鉄系触媒として、金属鉄、鉄酸化物、水酸化鉄、鉄塩、キレート鉄の少なくとも一種を用いることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の有機汚染物質の分解方法。
