Tx=(−Rx)+k (1)

初期送信電力の決定において、以前の送信のβを新しい送信に適用する。従って、新しい送信電力レベルは

Claims (15)
- 複数の基地局を有し、前記複数の基地局の各々は隣接する基地局からなる隣接基地局セットを有し、前記隣接基地局の各々は移動局のいずれかによる使用に利用可能なデフォルトチャネルを有する無線通信システムにおいて、下記を具備する方法:
デフォルトチャネル情報を前記移動局に前記基地局が送信する;
前記基地局により前記移動局から受信される情報に基づく呼復旧トリガーの発生を検出する;
基地局コントローラーは、前記隣接基地局セット内のすべての基地局が前記呼復旧トリガーを各初期設定チャネル上に送信するように各基地局に命令する、なお、前記呼復旧トリガーは、前記基地局から基地局コントローラーに中継される;
前記基地局は、前記移動局に全地球測位システム(GPS)サーチ動作を通知する;
前記基地局は、前記移動局に候補周波数サーチ動作を通知する。 - 呼復旧トリガーはフォワードリンク信号品質が所定のしきい値を下回るとき基地局コントローラーによって発生する、請求項1の方法。
- 前記呼の復旧トリガーは、
前記移動局からの電力制御要求メッセージの受信を確認するとき;および
前記電力制御要求メッセージの受信確認に続いて、前記移動局から前記電力制御要求メッセージを所定回数受信するとき、発生する、請求項1の方法。 - 前記隣接基地局セットの各々が迂回路チャネル上に送信する隣接基地局セットを用いてソフトハンドオフを確立することをさらに具備する、請求項1の方法。
- 前記移動局からハンドオフ完了メッセージを受信することをさらに具備する、請求項4の方法。
- 前記移動局のアクティブセットを決定することをさらに具備する、請求項1の方法。
- 前記移動局からパイロット信号測定メッセージを受信する、前記パイロット信号測定メッセージは基地局のセットに対する信号強度測定値を含む;および
基準信号品質を超えると前記基地局のセットをアクティブセットに割当てる;
ことをさらに具備する、請求項6の方法。 - 前記隣接基地局セット内の少なくとも1つの基地局が前記移動局からの信号を獲得し、さらに、前記隣接基地局セット内の少なくとも1つの基地局を前記アクティブセットに割当てることを具備する、請求項6の方法。
- 前記隣接基地局セット内の第1の隣接基地局は複数のデフォルトチャネルを有する、請求項1の方法。
- 前記移動局は、呼復旧のために使用するために複数のデフォルトチャネルの1つを決定するための決定論的関数を使用する、なお、前記決定論的関数はハッシュ関数である、請求項9の方法。
- 第1の識別子が前記移動局と関連し、
基地局コントローラーが前記第1の隣接基地局に前記第1の識別子を送信し;および
前記第1の隣接基地局に、前記決定論的関数を用いて呼復旧のために使用するために前記複数のデフォルトチャネルの1つを決定するように命令する;
ことをさらに具備する、請求項10の方法。 - 下記を具備する移動局:
アンテナ;
前記アンテナと接続されるプロセッサ;
前記アンテナおよび前記プロセッサと接続される送信回路:
前記アンテナおよび前記プロセッサと接続される受信回路;
1つの基地局の隣接する基地局のリストを受信するために前記プロセッサにより実行可能なコンピュータ読取り可能な第1のセットの命令群、前記リストは前記隣接基地局セットの各々のためのデフォルトチャネル割当てを含む;
呼復旧トリガーを識別し、前記トリガーに応答して送信回路を無能にするために前記プロセッサにより実行可能な第2のセットのコンピュータ読取り可能な命令群;
前記隣接基地局の少なくとも1つとハンドオフを確立するために前記プロセッサにより実行可能な第3のセットのコンピュータ読取り可能な命令群;
前記基地局からの全地球測位システム(GPS)サーチ動作の通知を前記受信回路で受信するために前記プロセッサにより実行可能な第4のセットのコンピュータ読み取り可能な命令群;
前記基地局からの候補周波数サーチ動作の通知を前記受信回路で受信するために前記プロセッサにより実行可能な第5のセットのコンピューター読み取り可能な命令群。 - 下記を具備する基地局:
送信器回路;
所定の電力制御命令を発生するために、呼復旧動作に続いて動作する復旧調節装置;
前記復旧調節装置および前記送信器回路と接続され、前記電力制御命令に応答して前記送信器回路を調節するように動作する電力調節装置;
移動局に全地球測位システム(GPS)サーチ動作を通知するとともに候補周波数サーチ動作を通知する基地局コントローラー。 - 前記所定の電力制御命令は、前記呼復旧の前の前記送信電力レベルに基づく、請求項13の基地局。
- コンピュータ実行可能な命令群を含むコンピュータ読取り可能な媒体上に具現化されたコンピュータプログラムであって、前記プログラムは、
無線通信システム内の移動局が呼の復旧トリガーは生じるが、呼は故障がない状況を形成する、特別のイベントを識別するように動作する第1のセットの命令群;
前記無線通信システム内の移動局が前記特別のイベントの期間、呼の復旧を無能にするように動作する第2のセットの命令群;
前記無線通信システム内の移動局が前記無線システム内の基地局に前記特別のイベントを通知するように動作する第3のセットの命令群;
前記無線通信システム内の移動局が前記無線システム内の基地局から全地球測位システム(GPS)サーチ動作を通知されるように動作する第4のセットの命令群;
前記無線通信システム内の移動局が前記無線システム内の基地局から候補周波数サーチ動作を通知されるように動作する第5のセットの命令群とから構成される。
