Claims (2)
- 波長の異なるレーザ光に対応する記録層を積層方向に複数有し、レーザ光の波長に応じて反射率が異なる膜から成る記録層を含むハイブリッド型光ディスクおよび当該ハイブリッド型光ディスク以外の光ディスクを再生可能な光ディスク装置であって、
前記複数の記録層に対応した波長のレーザ光を選択的に出射する光ピックアップと、
装着されたディスクが前記ハイブリッド型光ディスクと判断された場合において、前記複数の記録層のうち所定の記録層に対する再生動作が行われている間、当該再生動作に空き時間が生じるかを監視し、空き時間が生じたとき、前記光ピックアップから出射するレーザ光の波長を切り替えて、当該所定の記録層以外の他の記録層に対してリードイン情報の取得処理を行うリードイン取得手段と、
前記リードイン取得手段によって取得されたリードイン情報を格納するメモリ手段と、を有することを特徴とする光ディスク装置。 - 請求項1に記載の光ディスク装置において、さらに、
前記リードイン取得手段にてリードイン情報を取得する際、前記他の記録層に対応する波長のレーザ光を照射して処理に必要な所定のパラメータ値を取得し、前記メモリ手段に格納するパラメータ取得手段と、
前記一の記録層から他の記録層に層間ジャンプするとき前記メモリ手段からジャンプ後の記録層に対するパラメータ値を読み出して処理系に設定するパラメータ設定手段と、
を有することを特徴とする光ディスク装置。
