Pθ:筒内圧の絶対値(kPa)
dVθ:筒内容積上昇率(m3/deg)

DP:筒内圧変化量(kPa/deg)
ここで、比熱比kは所定値(例えば1.39)に設定されている。また、Pθ、dVθおよびVθは、いずれもクランク角度位置に応じて定まる値であり、DPは筒内圧センサ21による検出値である。
。これらの答がいずれもNOで、アイドル時セタン価CETI、低負荷時セタン価CETLおよび中高負荷時セタン価CETHのいずれの算出も完了しておらず、且つアイドル時セタン価CETIの暫定値が算出されていないときには、セタン価CETを所定の暫定セタン価CETBASEに設定し(ステップ85)、本処理を終了する。

ここで、Kは1.0未満の所定の重み係数である。この式(2)から明らかなように、重み係数Kを用い、今回求めた走行時暫定セタン価CETDINTと走行時セタン価の前回値CETD(n−1)との加重平均を行うことにより、走行時セタン価CETDが算出される。

Claims (6)
- 車両に搭載した内燃機関において使用される燃料のセタン価を用いて、当該内燃機関を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段と、
当該検出された内燃機関の運転状態が、所定の複数の運転モードのいずれかに該当するときに、燃料のセタン価を推定するセタン価推定手段と、
前記複数の運転モードにおいてそれぞれ推定された複数のセタン価に基づき、当該複数のセタン価のうち、より高いセタン価を前記内燃機関の制御用のセタン価として決定するセタン価決定手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記セタン価決定手段は、前記セタン価推定手段によるセタン価の推定がなされていないときに、所定のセタン価を前記制御用のセタン価として決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記複数の運転モードは、前記内燃機関のアイドル運転状態、および前記車両の所定の走行状態を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 車両に搭載した内燃機関において使用される燃料のセタン価を用いて、当該内燃機関を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段と、
当該検出された内燃機関の運転状態が、所定の複数の運転モードのいずれかに該当するときに、燃料のセタン価を推定するセタン価推定手段と、
前記複数の運転モードにおいてそれぞれ推定された複数のセタン価に基づき、当該複数のセタン価の1つを、前記内燃機関の制御用のセタン価として決定するセタン価決定手段と、を備え、
前記複数の運転モードは、所定の第1運転モードと、前記セタン価推定手段によって推定したときの燃料のセタン価の推定精度が、前記第1運転モードよりも低いとみなされる所定の第2運転モードを含み、
前記第1運転モードにおいて推定された第1運転モードセタン価と、前記第2運転モードにおいて推定された第2運転モードセタン価との関係に基づき、前記第2運転モードセタン価を補正するための補正値を設定する補正値設定手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 燃料が給油されたか否かを検出する給油検出手段と、
燃料が給油されたことが検出された後、所定期間が経過するまで、前記第1運転モードセタン価の推定がなされず且つ前記第2運転モードセタン価の推定がなされているときに、前記補正値に基づき、前記第2運転モードセタン価を補正するセタン価補正手段と、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記第1運転モードは、前記内燃機関のアイドル運転状態であり、前記第2運転モードは、前記車両の所定の走行状態であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
