Description
したがって、本発明(請求項1)では、未加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂に10〜95重量%の粉末状ロジンを混合した後に、前記粉末状セラック樹脂と前記粉末状ロジンとを非加熱状態にてプレス加工により所定の固形状に成形した機械加工用融解・凝固式固定剤を用意し、
前記固定剤(13)を加熱融解してワーク固定台(21)の表面に塗布し、
次に、前記ワーク固定台(21)の表面に塗布された前記固定剤(13)上にワーク(12)を押圧し、前記ワーク(12)を押圧した状態にて前記固定剤(13)の温度をその凝固温度まで低下させ、前記固定剤(13)が凝固することにより前記ワーク(12)を前記ワーク固定台(21)の表面に固定し、
次に、前記ワーク(12)に対する機械加工を実行し、前記機械加工の終了後に、親水性層と親油性層とに分離される温度に加熱されたグリコール・エーテル系水溶液を用いて前記ワーク(12)を前記ワーク固定台(21)とともに前記親油性層に接触させて洗浄して、前記固定剤(13)を前記グリコール・エーテル系水溶液中に溶解させる機械加工方法を特徴としている。
本発明者の検討によれば、グリコール・エーテル系洗浄剤はアルミなどの金属類に対して浸食(腐食)作用を及ぼすことなく、トリクレンやアセトンなどの有機溶剤と同等の洗浄能力を発揮することを確認できた。
非加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂:50重量%と、粉末状ロジン:50重量%とを等量混合して固定剤としている。ここで、粉末状セラック樹脂と粉末状ロジンは容器内で良く攪拌して均一に混合する。
第2実施例は、非加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂:20重量%と粉末状ロジン:80重量%とを混合して固定剤を作っている。このセラック樹脂とロジンの混合比率が第1実施例に対して相違している。この第2実施例による固定剤の物性値は次の通りであった。接着強度:20.1kg/cm2、軟化点:80℃である。
第3実施例では、非加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂:40重量%と粉末状ロジン:50重量%に、更に、平均粒径1ミクロンの粉末状アルミナを10重量%混合して固定剤としている。
第4実施例では、非加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂:30重量%と粉末状ロジン:50重量%に、更に、粉末状カーボンブラックを20重量%混合して固定剤としている。
なお、第1実施例では、非磁性材からなるワーク12を研磨加工する例について説明したが、これに限らず、ワーク12の材質、ワーク12に適用する具体的加工方法等は種々変更できる。
Claims (2)
- 未加熱の粉末状セラック樹脂に10〜95重量%の粉末状ロジンを混合した後に、前記粉末状セラック樹脂と前記粉末状ロジンとを非加熱状態にてプレス加工により所定の固形状に成形した機械加工用融解・凝固式固定剤(13)を用意し、
前記固定剤(13)を加熱融解してワーク固定台(21)の表面に塗布し、
次に、前記ワーク固定台(21)の表面に塗布された前記固定剤(13)上にワーク(12)を押圧し、前記ワーク(12)を押圧した状態にて前記固定剤(13)の温度をその凝固温度まで低下させ、前記固定剤(13)が凝固することにより前記ワーク(12)を前記ワーク固定台(21)の表面に固定し、
次に、前記ワーク(12)に対する機械加工を実行し、前記機械加工の終了後に、親水性層と親油性層とに分離される温度に加熱されたグリコール・エーテル系水溶液を用いて前記ワーク(12)を前記ワーク固定台(21)とともに前記親油性層に接触させて洗浄して、前記固定剤(13)を前記グリコール・エーテル系水溶液中に溶解させることを特徴とする機械加工方法。 - 前記粉末状ロジンの混合比率は35〜80重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の機械加工方法。
