Claims (5)
- 立体映像を具現するために、複数個の方向別視差映像がサンプリング及びマルチプレキシングされて表示される表示素子と;
前記表示素子の前面に備わり、縦軸が前記表示素子の垂直軸に対して所定角度αだけ傾斜したレンティキュラレンズ板と;を含んで構成され、
前記立体映像をなす単位立体映像を構成する方向別視差映像は、その個数が7の倍数で、水平方向に5個備わり、
前記所定角度αは、次式
α=arctan(5Hp/7Vp)
(ここで、Hpは、水平方向の最小単位画素周期を示し、Vpは、垂直方向の最小単位画素周期を示す。)
によって求められ、
前記単位立体映像は、
最上端の第1行には、第1方向から第2方向に第4、第11、第18、第25及び第32番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第2行には、第1方向から第2方向に第7、第14、第21、第28及び第35番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第2行から第1方向に1個のサブピクセルだけ移動して配置される第3行には、第1方向から第2方向に第3、第10、第17、第24及び第31番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第4行には、第1方向から第2方向に第6、第13、第20、第27及び第34番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第4行から第1方向に1個のサブピクセルだけ移動して配置される第5行には、第1方向から第2方向に第2、第9、第16、第23及び第30番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第6行には、第1方向から第2方向に第5、第12、第19、第26及び第33番目の方向別視差映像が配置され、
第6行から第1方向に1個のサブピクセルだけ移動して配置される第7行には、第1方向から第2方向に第1、第8、第15、第22及び第29番目の方向別視差映像が配置されるパターンでマルチプレキシングされ、
前記一つのサブピクセル内で、
前記第2行の方向別視差映像は、前記第1行の方向別視差映像と水平方向に同一の位置に備わり、前記第4行の方向別視差映像は、前記第3行の方向別視差映像と水平方向に同一の位置に備わり、前記第6行の方向別視差映像は、前記第5行の方向別視差映像と水平方向に同一の位置に備わることを特徴とする立体映像表示装置。 - 前記表示素子は、液晶パネル(LCD)であり、光源をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記表示素子は、プラズマディスプレイパネル(PDP)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記液晶パネルの前面及び後面のうち少なくとも一つに備わり、前記液晶パネルの形状を平面で支持する平板支持板をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の立体映像表示装置。
- 前記平板支持板は、透明プラスチックまたは透明ガラスのうち何れか一つで形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の立体映像表示装置。
