また、本発明は、ラムスデライト型二酸化チタン粉末を、150〜400℃の熱処理を行うことによって、ラムスデライト型の部分構造とルチル型の部分構造が交互に積層した、ラムスデライト型結晶構造を有する部分構造とルチル型結晶構造を有する部分構造を有し、Li x TiO 2 (0≦x<0.1)化合物で表される二酸化チタンの製造方法である。
さらに、本発明は、熱処理温度を変化させることによって、交互に積層されたラムスデライト型とルチル型の部分構造の割合を任意に制御することを特徴とする二酸化チタンの製造方法である。
本発明のうち、交互に積層した結晶構造を有する二酸化チタンの製造方法は、あらかじめ合成されたラムスデライト型二酸化チタンを出発原料として、熱処理温度を変化させることによって、部分構造の比率を制御可能なことを特徴とする方法である。熱処理温度が低い場合には、ラムスデライト型結晶構造の部分構造の割合が多く、また、熱処理温度が高い場合には、ルチル型結晶構造の部分構造の割合が多い結晶構造を有する二酸化チタンの製造が可能であることが判明した。
本発明のうち、出発原料とするラムスデライト型構造を有する二酸化チタンは、ラムスデライト型LixTiO2を、ソフト化学的にリチウム脱離反応を行うことによって製造することができる。
以下に、実施例を示し、本発明の特徴とするところをより一層明確にする。本発明は、これら実施例に限定されるものではない。

Claims (3)
- Li x TiO 2 (0≦x<0.1)化合物として表され、ラムスデライト型の結晶構造を有する部分構造とルチル型の結晶構造を有する部分構造が交互に積層していることを特徴とする二酸化チタン。
- ラムスデライト型二酸化チタン粉末を、150〜400℃の熱処理を行うことによって、ラムスデライト型の部分構造とルチル型の部分構造が交互に積層した、ラムスデライト型結晶構造を有する部分構造とルチル型結晶構造を有する部分構造を有し、Li x TiO 2 (0≦x<0.1)化合物で表される二酸化チタンの製造方法。
- 熱処理温度を変化させることによって、交互に積層されたラムスデライト型とルチル型の部分構造の割合を任意に制御することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二酸化チタンの製造方法。
