Description
導入される表面凹凸のために明瞭な組織像を得ることが難しい。特に、高強度化・高靱化を図るために析出物(第二相粒子)を分散・析出した微細複相材料では、析出物に母地組織が覆われるために結晶粒の映像化が困難である。

ただ、反射電子像は二次電子像に比べて分解能が劣るのに加え、試料自身には組成の違いと共に、試料表面の凹凸が混在しているので、単純に化学組成や結晶性の違いを抽出できない。
実施例1として、階層構造を有する微細で複雑な中炭素鋼の焼もどしマルテンサイト組織に対して、この出願の発明による組織の映像化方法を実施した。その詳細は以下のとおりである。
実施例2では、図15の模式図に示すような組織構成が単純なフェライト微細粒組織に対して、この出願の発明を適用した。従って、実施例1の階層構造を有する複雑なマルテンサイト組織に適用する以上に、この出願の発明による結晶粒映像化の効果を明確に示すことができる。なお、機械研磨はエメリー紙による粗研磨後、粒子径が1μmのダイヤモンド粒子によって行った。化学腐食は5%ナイタールで10秒間行った。電解研磨は8vol.%過塩素酸、10vol.%ブトキシエタノール、70vol.%エタノール、12vol.%蒸留水の溶液により行った。化学機械研磨は二酸化けい素を水に含有させた化学研磨液により行った。
Claims (1)
- 走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)または背面電子散乱パターン(EBSP)計測により、第二相粒子を分散・析出した微細複相鉄鋼材料試料の組織を映像化する為の観察面処理方法であって、前記試料の観察面を化学研磨と機械研磨とを同時に20分から40分間施して表面高低差50nm以下とすることを特徴とする観察面処理方法。
