Description
Claims (12)
- 対称および非対称の伝送を用いて中央局と1または複数の加入者との間で広帯域データ伝送を提供することができる電気通信ネットワークにおける、複数のデジタル加入者線の自動管理のための方法であって、
各デジタル加入者線ごとの許容総平均送信電力および信号対雑音比マージンを選択するステップと、
各デジタル加入者線ごとにループ応答関数を決定するステップと、
各デジタル加入者線ごとに開始送信電力およびビットレートを設定するステップと、
各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとのすべての漏話の和を計算し、前記選択された総平均送信電力に基づき、ウォータフィリング技法を用いて、前記各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとの最適送信電力を求める計算ステップと、
各対称デジタル加入者線ごとのすべての漏話の和を計算し、前記選択された総平均送信電力と前記選択された信号対雑音比マージンとに基づいて、前記各対称デジタル加入者線ごとの最大ビットレートを求める計算ステップと、
所定の停止基準に達するまで2つの前記計算ステップを反復実施するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記所定の停止基準は、ある反復からその次の反復への、各デジタル加入者線ごとの最大ビットレートにおける差分に基づくことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の停止基準は、ある反復からその次の反復への、各デジタル加入者線ごとの最大ビットレートにおける前記差分が、約1kbpsのときであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 各デジタル加入者線ごとに前記ループ応答関数を決定する前記ステップは、既存ループデータベースから情報を取り出すことをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとの前記開始送信電力は、前記許容平均電力で送信される各周波数にわたってフラットなパワースペクトル密度に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとの前記開始ビットレートは、最悪ケースの漏話モデルにより予測されるビットレートの約2倍に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記信号対雑音比マージンは、約6dBとして選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 対称および非対称の伝送を用いて中央局と1または複数の加入者との間で広帯域データ伝送を提供することができる電気通信ネットワークにおける複数のデジタル加入者線の自動管理のためのシステムであって、
各デジタル加入者線ごとに許容総平均送信電力および信号対雑音比マージンを選択する手段と、
各デジタル加入者線ごとにループ応答関数を決定する手段と、
各デジタル加入者線ごとに開始送信電力およびビットレートを設定する手段と、
所定の停止基準に達するまで、各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとのすべての漏話の和を反復して計算し、前記選択された総平均送信電力に基づき、ウォータフィリング技法を用いて、前記各非対称デジタル加入者線ごとの最適送信電力を求める手段と、
所定の停止基準に達するまで、各対称デジタル加入者線ごとのすべての漏話の和を反復して計算し、前記選択された総平均送信電力と前記選択された信号対雑音比マージンとに基づいて、前記各対称デジタル加入者線ごとの最大ビットレートを求める手段と
を具備することを特徴とするシステム。 - 1つまたは複数のデジタル加入者線の構成を決定することができる自動試験装置と通信する手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 1つまたは複数のデジタル加入者線の構成に関する情報を提供するための既存ループデータベースと通信する手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- オペレーションサポートシステムと通信する手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 2つの前記反復計算する手段の少なくとも1つは、加入者モデムに常駐することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
