Claims (9)
- 燃焼機関(1)の排気ライン(3)に液体媒体を供給するための装置であって、
素子(10d)の少なくとも第1壁表面(10d′)によって画成される第1排気通路(12)と、前記液体媒体を前記第1排気通路(12)へ供給するようにされる投与装置(9)と、
前記液体媒体が第1排気通路(12)内に供給される時、前記第1壁表面が前記液体媒体の蒸発点よりも高い温度になるように前記第1壁表面(10d′)の加熱度を維持するようになされた手段とを含み、
前記手段が、前記第1壁表面(10d′)に熱を供給する熱源(13)を含み、
前記熱源が、前記第1壁表面(10d′)の近くに位置する第2壁表面(10d″)によって境界づけられている構成の前記装置において、
前記素子が、螺旋状排気ライン(3b)内に配設された壁素子(10d)であり、該壁素子が、前記排気ライン(3b)の一部を前記第1排気通路(12)と第2排気通路(13)に分割していることを特徴とする燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。 - 前記投与装置が噴霧ノズル(9)を含み、この噴霧ノズルによって、前記液体媒体が前記第1排気通路(12)内に噴霧されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに前記液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記液体媒体が尿素溶液であり、前記排気ライン(3,3c)に触媒(8)が収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記素子の内側壁表面(10d′)が、非平坦表面(15)を有する少なくとも1つの領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記素子の内側壁表面が、少なくとも1つの凹所(15)を含み、この凹所は、前記第1排気通路(12)内の排気ガスの流れ方向に対して実質上直角をなす方向に或る範囲を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記投与装置が噴霧ノズル(9)であり、該噴霧ノズル(9)が、複数の径方向開口部(26a‐26h)を含み、これらの開口部が、前記第1排気通路(12)内の排気ガスの流れの主方向に対して実質上直角方向に前記第1排気通路(12)の前記液体媒体を導くことを特徴とする請求項2に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記投与装置が、複数の径方向開口部(26a‐26h)を含む噴霧ノズル(9)であり、該噴霧ノズル(9)が、中心軸線(c)の周囲を巡って延在する螺旋状排気ライン(3b)の一部内に位置する湾曲した前記第1排気通路(12)内に配置され、
湾曲した前記第1排気通路(12)内で、主として前記中心軸線(c)に向かって径方向内方へ前記液体媒体を導く方向(27a‐27h)に、前記液体媒体が供給されるように、前記開口部(26a‐26h)の位置決めがなされていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。 - 前記第1排気通路(12)は、互いに或る距離をおいて位置する2つの壁素子(25,10d)によって前記中心軸線(c)に関して軸線方向において、かつ外方壁素子(24u)と内方壁素子(24i)によって前記中心軸線(c)に関して径方向において境界づけされ、それによって、前記噴霧ノズル(9)は、軸線方向壁素子(25,10d)と内方の径方向壁素子(24i)の各々に向かって少なくとも一方向(27a‐27h)に前記液体媒体を供給するようになされるが、その供給は外方の前記径方向壁素子(24u)に向かう方向ではないことを特徴とする請求項7に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
- 前記噴霧ノズルは、径方向内方の壁素子(24i)よりも径方向外方の前記壁素子(24u)に近い位置で、前記第1排気通路(12)内に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載された燃焼機関の排気ラインに液体媒体を供給するための装置。
