Claims (17)
- 部品(20)の外側表面(26)から内側に向かって延在する、内側の穴(28)と、環状肩部(34)によって前記内側の穴(28)から離間された環状の外側のカウンタボア(32)と、を含んだ構成要素(24)を備えた部品をコーティングするための方法であって、
前記部品(20)の構成要素(24)内に環状の予成形されたセラミックマスク(60)を挿入することにより、部品(20)の前記環状肩部(34)と、前記カウンタボア(32)の側面における第1の面部分(44)と、を覆うように該セラミックマスク(60)を適用するステップと、
前記カウンタボア(32)の側面における第2の面部分(48)に、部分的に上記マスクと接触した状態にコーティング(80)を適用するステップと、
上記マスクを破壊的に除去するステップ、
とを含んでなることを特徴とする、部品をコーティングするための方法。 - 前記マスクが、AlOxベースの材料からなることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記マスクを適用するステップが、該マスクを固定することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記マスクを適用するステップが、該マスクを、クランプ(400)を用いて嵌合させることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングを適用するステップが、HVOFによるコーティングを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングを適用するステップが、少なくとも300°F(148.89°C)の部品最高温度を伴うことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングが、カーバイドベースの材料からなることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記破壊的に除去するステップが、破砕することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記破壊的に除去するステップが、シャタリングすることを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記破壊的に除去するステップが、本質的に前記第2の面部分からコーティングの剥離することなく行われること特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、前記第2の面部分から少なくとも部分的に最初のコーティングを除去するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 金属基体(22)からなる部品であって、その外側表面(26)から内側に向かって延在する、内側の穴(28)と、環状肩部(34)によって前記内側の穴(28)から離間された環状の外側のカウンタボア(32)と、を含んだ構成要素(24)を備えた部品と、
予成形された環状のセラミックマスク(60)と、
前記環状肩部(34)と、前記部品の前記カウンタボア(32)の側面における第1の面部分(44)と、に嵌合された前記マスクを保持する固定具(400)、
とを含んでなることを特徴とする、コーティング中に部品を保持するための、部品(20)と固定具(400)との組み合わせ。 - 前記部品の前記カウンタボア(32)の側面における第2の面部分(48)にコーティングを適用して、少なくとも部分的に前記マスクをコーティングするための手段をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項12記載の組み合わせ。
- 前記固定具が、機械的なクランプを含むことを特徴とする、請求項12記載の組み合わせ。
- 前記固定具が、前記マスクが前記基体と接触した状態で該マスクを保持することを特徴とする、請求項12記載の組み合わせ。
- 前記マスクが、AlOxベースの材料からなるものであることを特徴とする、請求項12記載の組み合わせ。
- 前記マスクが前記部品の区画中に存在することを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の組み合わせ。
