Claims (5)
- インク滴を吐出するノズルと、
前記ノズルと隅角部で連通し、インクを加減圧する平面視略四角形状の圧力室と、
前記圧力室にインクを供給するインク供給口と、
前記圧力室の一面を形成する振動板上に接着された平板状の圧電素子と、
を有し、
前記インク供給口は、前記圧力室の前記振動板と対向する面側の中央部に設けられ、
前記圧電素子は、前記圧力室毎に1つ配設され、該圧電素子の前記振動板側に対して反対側に複数の個別電極を備え、
各個別電極に時間的に位相が異なる交流電圧をそれぞれ印加することにより、前記圧電素子の複数の共振モードを、時間的に位相をずらして同時に振動させ、前記圧力室内に回転進行波を発生させるようにしたことを特徴とするインクジェット記録ヘッド。 - 前記複数の共振モードの共振周波数が略一致していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド。
- 前記中央部は、前記回転進行波によって発生する回転流の負圧部分であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド。
- 前記隅角部は、前記回転進行波によって発生する回転流の正圧部分であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド。
- 前記回転進行波の回転数を制御可能としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載のインクジェット記録ヘッド。
