Claims (7)
- 2つの電極及び前記2つの電極間を絶縁するセパレーターを有する電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容する空間を持ち、上端部が開放された缶と、
前記開放された缶の上端部を溶接して覆うキャッププレートと、を備え、
前記キャッププレートは、前記溶接される部分のうち少なくとも一の部分の厚さが、当該キャッププレートの他の部分の厚さよりも厚く形成され、前記缶の上端部に溶接されるキャッププレートの端部の厚さは、前記キャッププレートの他の部分の厚さよりも厚く形成され、前記端部には、前記キャッププレートの下面を基準にして下側に突出するリブを備え、前記リブは前記キャッププレートの下面に対して直角に形成されていることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記缶の上端部の内側面には、所定の幅を有する段差部が形成され、前記リブの下端部は、前記段差部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リブを含めた前記キャッププレートの厚さは前記段差部の幅と等しく形成され、前記キャッププレートの外側面は前記段差部に接するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リブを含めた前記キャッププレートの厚さは、0.8〜0.9mmに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記リブを除く前記キャッププレートの厚さは、0.4〜0.8mmに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記キャッププレートには、電解液を注入するための電解液注入口が形成され、
前記電解液注入口の周辺部の厚さは、前記キャッププレートの他の部分の厚さよりも厚く形成され、前記キャッププレートの下面を基準にして下側に突出する溶接補強部が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記溶接補強部を含む前記キャッププレートの厚さは、前記リブを含む端部の厚さと等しい厚さに形成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。
