Description
この場合、上記移動機構が、上記可動部材を上記第1回動軸線に沿って上記ヒンジ本体に接近するように付勢する付勢手段と、上記ヒンジ本体と上記可動部材との対向面のいずれか一方に設けられた凹部と、上記ヒンジ本体と上記可動部材との対向面のいずれか他方に設けられ、上記第1回動部材の回動に伴って上記凹部に出入りする凸部とを有し、上記第1回動部材の上記基準位置からの離間回動に伴って上記凸部が上記凹部から抜け出ることにより、上記可動部材が上記付勢手段の付勢力に抗して上記ヒンジ本体から離間するように移動させられ、上記第1回動部材の上記基準位置への接近回動に伴って上記凸部が上記凹部に入り込むことにより、上記可動部材が上記付勢手段の付勢力によって上記ヒンジ本体に接近するように移動させられることが望ましい。
上記凹部及び上記凸部がそれぞれ二つ設けられており、上記二つの凹部が上記第1回動軸線を中心とする円周上に180°離れて配置され、上記二つの凸部が上記第1回動軸線を中心とする円周上に周方向へ180°離れて配置されていることが望ましい。
送話部と受話部とがこの発明に係る二軸ヒンジ装置によって連結された携帯電話機において、いま受話部がその前面を送話部の前面に接触させた折畳位置に位置しているものとする。受話部を折畳位置から離間するように第1回動軸線を中心として回動させると、可動部材が移動機構によりヒンジ本体から離間するように移動させられる。その結果、可動部材に係合した受話部が、第2回動軸線を中心として送話部から離間するように回動させられる。つまり、受話部は、第1回動軸線を中心として折畳位置から回動し始めると同時に第2回動軸線を中心として送話部から離間するように回動させられる。したがって、受話部は送話部の前面上を摺動することがない。逆に、受話部を折畳位置に接近するように第1回動軸線を中心として回動させるときには、可動部材が移動機構によりヒンジ本体に接近するように移動させられる。その結果、可動部材に係合した受話部が、第2回動軸線を中心として送話部に接近するように回動させられる。そして、受話部が第1回動軸線を中心として折畳位置まで回動すると、受話部の前面が送話部の前面に突き当たる。換言すれば、受話部が折畳位置に接近するように回動する際には、受話部が折畳位置に達するまでは受話部の前面が送話部の前面に接触することがない。このように、受話部は、その前面が送話部の前面に接触した状態で第1回動軸線を中心として回動することがない。よって、受話部が送話部の前面に設けられた操作ボタンを押してしまうような事態を未然に防止することができる。

例えば、この発明は、携帯電話機以外の携帯機器、例えばノートブック型パソコンにも適用することができる。
また、上記の実施の形態においては、取付板41に凸部41a,41bを設け、可動部材44に凹部44c、44dを設けているが、取付板41の凹部を設け、可動部材44に凸部を設けてもよい。
Claims (3)
- 第1筐体と第2筐体とを互いのなす角が直角である第1回動軸線及び第2回動軸線を中心として回動可能に連結するために、上記第1筐体に固定されるヒンジ本体と、このヒンジ本体に上記第1回動軸線を中心として回動可能に設けられた第1回動部材と、上記第2筐体に固定され、上記第1回動部材に上記第2回動軸線を中心として回動可能に設けられた第2回動部材とを備え、上記第1筐体及び上記第2筐体を互いの前面どうしが突き当たった折畳位置から離間するように上記第1回動軸線及び上記第2回動軸線を中心として回動可能に連結する二軸ヒンジ装置において、
上記第1回動部材に可動部材が回動不能に、かつ上記第1回動軸線に沿って移動可能に連結され、この可動部材と上記ヒンジ本体との間に、上記第1回動部材が上記第1回動軸線を中心として所定の基準位置から離間するように回動する際には、上記可動部材を上記第1回動軸線に沿って上記ヒンジ本体から離間するように移動させ、上記第1回動部材が上記第1回動軸線を中心として上記基準位置に接近するように回動する際には、上記可動部材を上記第1回動軸線に沿って上記ヒンジ本体に接近するように移動させる移動機構が設けられ、上記可動部材は、上記第1回動部材の上記第1回動軸線を中心とする上記基準位置からの離間回動に伴って上記ヒンジ本体から離間移動する際には、上記第2筐体を上記第2回動軸線を中心として上記折畳位置から離間回動させることを特徴とする二軸ヒンジ装置。 - 上記移動機構が、上記可動部材を上記第1回動軸線に沿って上記ヒンジ本体に接近するように付勢する付勢手段と、上記ヒンジ本体と上記可動部材との対向面のいずれか一方に設けられた凹部と、上記ヒンジ本体と上記可動部材との対向面のいずれか他方に設けられ、上記第1回動部材の回動に伴って上記凹部に出入りする凸部とを有し、上記第1回動部材の上記基準位置からの離間回動に伴って上記凸部が上記凹部から抜け出ることにより、上記可動部材が上記付勢手段の付勢力に抗して上記ヒンジ本体から離間するように移動させられ、上記第1回動部材の上記基準位置への接近回動に伴って上記凸部が上記凹部に入り込むことにより、上記可動部材が上記付勢手段の付勢力によって上記ヒンジ本体に接近するように移動させられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二軸ヒンジ装置。
- 上記凹部及び上記凸部がそれぞれ二つ設けられており、上記二つの凹部が上記第1回動軸線を中心する円周上に周方向へ180°離れて配置され、上記二つの凸部が上記第1回動軸線を中心とする円周上に周方向へ180°離れて配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二軸ヒンジ装置。
