Claims (3)
- マトリクス駆動により、カラー画像を表示する表示装置において、
走査方向を行として、L行に配置された、表示される各画素毎に、P色分の発光手段を有する表示手段と、
前記発光手段を走査駆動するための走査駆動手段と、
前記走査駆動手段により走査駆動されている前記発光手段を駆動して所定の画像を表示させるためのM個のデータ信号駆動手段と、
前記表示手段の前記発光手段から引き出された基板上のデータ配線をM個の前記データ信号駆動手段のうちの何れかに接続するための接続端子が、1つの画素の幅においてP列×M行になるように2次元に配列されて構成される接続手段と
を備え、
同一行上に配置される各画素毎に、前記P色分の前記発光手段のそれぞれから引き出された前記基板上のデータ配線は、M行の前記接続端子のうちの同一行の対応するP列分の前記接続端子にそれぞれ接続され、
M行の前記接続端子のうちの同一行の前記接続端子は、M個の前記データ信号駆動手段のうちの同一の前記データ信号駆動手段に接続されることで、同一行の前記接続端子のそれぞれに対して、前記基板上のデータ配線が(M−1)本ずつ間引きして接続され、
前記M個のデータ駆動手段は、M行の前記発光手段を同時に発光させ、各行の発光開始タイミングを所定時間ずつずらすように、前記接続端子により接続された前記発光手段をそれぞれ駆動する
表示装置。 - 前記接続手段には、複数のTAB基板が接続され、
1つのTAB基板は、M行の前記接続端子のうちの同一行の前記接続端子に接続される
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - マトリクス駆動により、カラー画像を表示する表示装置の配線引き回し方法において、
前記表示装置は、
走査方向を行として、L行に配置された、表示される各画素毎に、P色分の発光手段を有する表示手段と、
前記発光手段を走査駆動するための走査駆動手段と、
前記走査駆動手段により走査駆動されている前記発光手段を駆動して所定の画像を表示させるためのM個のデータ信号駆動手段と、
前記表示手段の前記発光手段から引き出された基板上のデータ配線をM個の前記データ信号駆動手段のうちの何れかに接続するための接続端子が、1つの画素の幅においてP列×M行になるように2次元に配列されて構成される接続手段と
を備え、
同一行上に配置される各画素毎に、前記P色分の前記発光手段のそれぞれから引き出された前記基板上のデータ配線は、M行の前記接続端子のうちの同一行の対応するP列分の前記接続端子にそれぞれ接続し、
M行の前記接続端子のうちの同一行の前記接続端子は、M個の前記データ信号駆動手段のうちの同一の前記データ信号駆動手段に接続することで、同一行の前記接続端子のそれぞれに対して、前記基板上のデータ配線が(M−1)本ずつ間引きして接続し、
前記M個のデータ駆動手段は、M行の前記発光手段を同時に発光させ、各行の発光開始タイミングを所定時間ずつずらすように、前記接続端子により接続された前記発光手段をそれぞれ駆動する
