Description

Claims (8)
- 埋め込み可能医療デバイスであって、
患者の電気的信号を検出する複数の電極と、
前記患者の機械的活動を検知するセンサと、
前記電気的信号及び前記機械的活動に応答して前記患者に対して前記デバイスによって行われる治療を制御するコントローラとを備え、
前記コントローラは、前記検出された電気的信号から電気的事象信号のレートを取得し、前記検知された機械的活動から機械的事象信号のレートを取得し、前記電気的事象信号のレートと前記機械的事象信号のレートとを比較し、
前記電気的事象信号のレートが前記機械的事象信号のレートに一致せず、前記電気的事象信号のレートが速く、かつ前記機械的事象信号が低い振幅であるか、又は迷走性であるかのいずれでもない場合に、前記コントローラは前記複数の電極の感度を調整し、
前記電気的事象信号のレートが前記機械的事象信号のレートに一致せず、前記電気的事象信号のレートが速くなく、かつ前記電気的事象信号が無いか、又は迷走性であるかのいずれでもない場合に、前記コントローラは前記センサの感度を調整する、
埋め込み可能医療デバイス。 - 前記コントローラは、前記電気的信号と前記機械的活動を関係付け、前記電気的信号及び前記機械的活動がほぼ等しくないことに応答して、前記電気的信号及び前記機械的活動からの付加的な情報を利用して、不整脈を判定する、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、存在しない機械的活動、低振幅の機械的活動、及び迷走性の機械的活動のうちの1つと共に速い電気的事象信号のレートが起こることに応答して、不整脈が存在すると判定する、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記機械的活動は心臓壁変位に対応する、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 変位に対応する前記心臓壁変位の低周波数成分に一致するフィルタをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記センサは、前記患者の左心室に沿って位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 冠静脈洞リード線をさらに備え、前記センサは、前記冠静脈洞リード線に沿って位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記機械的活動を検出するクロスチェックセンサをさらに備え、前記コントローラは、前記センサ及び前記クロスチェックセンサによって検知される非心臓関連運動情報を排除する、請求項1に記載の埋め込み可能医療デバイス。
