Claims (7)
- ケーブルと接続されるコンタクトを有し、該コンタクトが絶縁性のボディに保持され、該ボディが金属板からなるシェルでシールドされたプラグ本体を備え、該プラグ本体の一部がオーバーモールドされているコネクタであって、前記シェルは、矩形状のベースと、該ベースの延長部を折り立ててなる複数の側板とを有し、前記ボディは、前記シェルの隣接する前記側板間に形成される隙間に嵌り込んで該隙間を塞ぐシール部を有することを特徴とするコネクタ。
- 前記ボディは、コネクタの相手方コネクタへの挿入方向後側に形成するコネクタの把持部と、該把持部から前記挿入方向前側に突出形成されて相手方コネクタに挿入する前記把持部より薄い嵌合部とを有し、前記シェルは、前記把持部の前記挿入方向前側の前端面を覆う前側板と、前記把持部の前端面に隣接する左右側面に沿う左右側板と、前記前側板の延長部を折り曲げてなり前記嵌合部を覆う筒状部とを有し、前記シール部は、前記前側板と左右側板間に形成される隙間に嵌り込んで該隙間を塞ぎ、前記プラグ本体の前記ボディの把持部から嵌合部の根元部までがオーバーモールドされている請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記ボディの嵌合部を相手方コネクタに挿入したときに該相手方コネクタに係合させるラッチを有する請求項1又は請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記シェルは、前記ベースの前記挿入方向後側に位置する延長部でなり前記コンタクトに接続された前記ケーブルと結合する固定部を有し、前記ケーブルの端部から前記プラグ本体の前記ボディの把持部を経て嵌合部の根元部までがオーバーモールドされている請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記ベースと相対する他のベースと、該他のベースの延長部を折り立ててなり前記左右側板と重ね合う他の左右側板とを有し、前記シェルとで前記ボディの把持部の全周囲を覆う金属板からなるシェルカバーを備える請求項2〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記シェルカバーは、前記他のベースの前記挿入方向後側に位置する延長部でなり前記コンタクトに接続された前記ケーブルと結合する他の固定部を有する請求項5に記載のコネクタ。
- マイクロUSBコネクタ規格準拠のマイクロUSBプラグからなる請求項1〜請求項6の何れか1項に記載のコネクタ。
