Description

Claims (6)
- コンピュータ断層撮影(CT)走査を実行するためのコンピュータ断層撮影(CT)画像形成システム(10)であって、
X線のスペクトルを照射するX線源(14)と、
複数列に配列された複数の検知器セルを備える検知器アレイ(18)と、
各検出器列が各々フィルタリングされたX線ビーム又はフィルタリングされないX線ビームを受けるようにZ方向に配向された複数の個別のフィルタ及び空気経路の対と、
前記X線源と前記検出器アレイを回転させるガントリと、
前記X線源と前記検出器アレイの間に被写体(22)を送るテーブルと、
該検知器アレイに作動的に連結されたプロセッサ(36)と、
を含み、
画像形成される前記被写体(22)と、前記フィルタ及び空気経路の複数の対とがZ方向に互いに対して動き、
前記プロセッサが、
1回転につき1検出器セルだけ前記X線源(14)が前記テーブルに対して進むX線源のピッチによる走査により、第1X線スペクトル範囲に関する第1データを第1検知器セルから受信し(62)、
前記第1X線スペクトル範囲とは異なる第2X線スペクトル範囲に関する第2データを前記第1検知器セルとは異なる第2検知器セルから受信し(64)、
前記第1及び第2のデータを使用して時間T0における第1スペクトル解析を実行して、画像形成される前記被写体(22)の関心領域内の検体の位置を求め、
前記Z方向における相対運動が続いる間、フィルタ及び空気経路の異なる対を使用して後続するスペクトル解析を実行して、前記検体の移動に関する動的情報を求める、
ように構成されていることを特徴とするCTシステム。 - 前記第1検知器セルが前記第2検知器セルとは異なるX線スペクトルを検出することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のCTシステム(10)。
- 前記個別のフィルタの1つが、第1X線吸収特性をもち、該個別のフィルタの1つが前記第1X線吸収特性とは異なる第2X線吸収特性をもつことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のCTシステム。
- 前記個別のフィルタの各々が、ほぼ同じX線吸収特性をもつことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のCTシステム(10)。
- 前記複数の個別のフィルタ及び空気経路の対が、前記X線源(14)と画像形成される前記被写体(22)との間のX線コリメータ内に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のCTシステム(10)。
- 前記検知器アレイ(18)がX線スペクトルの異なる部分に反応する異なる物質で製造された複数の検出器セル、及び、該X線スペクトルの異なる部分に反応する異なる閃輝性物質で被覆された複数の検出器セルのいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のCTシステム(10)。
