Description
図5は本発明の方法で装飾されたアルミニウム缶体の一例を示しており、この缶体は「Cola」の文字と複数の「銀河」42が表面上にエンボス加工された。ホログラムで反射した光は、缶が光の中を移動するに連れて様々な外観すなわち像を形成する。絞りおよびアイアニング加工された缶側壁の薄い壁部分と厚い壁部分との間の厚さの相違による問題を最小限に抑えるために、ホログラム像は缶体の薄い壁部のみに転写された。しかしながら、本発明は、ホログラフィ像を缶側壁の薄い壁部分および厚い壁部分の両者に転写するために利用できるものである。
Claims (9)
- アルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法において、
被覆が施されていない外面を有する印刷ロールを用意する段階と、
前記印刷ロールに隣接させて支持ロールを設ける段階と、
シムにホログラフィ像を形成する段階と、
互いに反対方向に回転する関係で前記印刷ロールと前記支持ロールを回転させる段階と、
回転する前記印刷ロールと前記支持ロールの間に前記シムを通す段階であり、前記シムを前記印刷ロールに直接装着させることなく、前記シムに形成された前記ホログラフィ像を前記印刷ロールの前記被覆が施されていない外面に直接刻印させる、前記シムを通す段階と、
互いに反対方向に回転する関係で、前記ホログラフィ像が刻印された前記印刷ロールと、前記アルミニウム製中空筒状体とを回転させる段階と、
前記ホログラフィ像が刻印された前記印刷ロールを、前記アルミニウム製中空筒状体の前記外面に押圧させて、前記ホログラフィ像を前記アルミニウム製中空筒状体の前記外面に付与する段階とを含むアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。 - 前記印刷ロールと前記支持ロールの間に前記シムを通す段階が、前記シムに形成された前記ホログラフィ像を、前記印刷ロールの前記被覆が施されていない外面に、単一の連続する作業で直接転写する段階を含む請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記印刷ロールと前記支持ロールの間に前記シムを通す段階の後に、前記印刷ロールの前記被覆が施されていない外面にダイアモンドを含む被覆を付与する段階を含む請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記印刷ロールと前記支持ロールの間に前記シムを通す段階の前に、前記シムにダイアモンドを含む被覆を付与する段階を含む請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記シムが実質的に平坦である請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記印刷ロールがアルミニウム合金製である請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記印刷ロールの前記被覆が施されていない外面にダイアモンドを含む被覆を直接付与する段階を含む請求項3に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記シムにホログラフィ像を形成する段階が、前記アルミニウム製中空筒状体の全外面に付与するためのホログラフィ像を前記シムに付与する段階を含む請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
- 前記シムが、前記印刷ロールの前記被覆が施されていない外面に相当する寸法になされている請求項1に記載されたアルミニウム製中空筒状体の外面にホログラフィ像を設ける方法。
