Description
Claims (3)
- 記録パルスのパルス値やパルス幅、パルス間隔を規定する記録ストラテジを設定し、該記録ストラテジに従って光ディスクにデータを記録する光ディスク装置であって、
前記光ディスクの識別情報を読み取る手段と、
前記識別情報毎及び記録速度毎の記録ストラテジをストラテジテーブルとして記憶する手段と、
読み取った識別情報に基づき前記ストラテジテーブルを参照し、前記識別情報及び記録速度毎に記録ストラテジを設定する手段と、
前記設定する手段で前記識別情報に基づいた記録ストラテジを設定できない場合に、前記記録速度に応じた基準ストラテジを設定し、前記基準ストラテジ、及び前記基準ストラテジのパルス幅を変化させた調整ストラテジで前記光ディスクのテストエリアにテストデータを記録するテストデータ記録手段と、
前記基準ストラテジ及び前記調整ストラテジで記録されたテストデータをそれぞれ再生し、その同期信号を検出する検出手段と、
前記同期信号の検出率を所定値と比較し、所定値以上となるストラテジで前記光ディスクのデータエリアにデータを記録するデータ記録手段と、
を有することを特徴とする光ディスク装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記テストデータ記録手段は、前記テストデータとして、同期信号におけるマークとスペースの出現頻度がほぼ等しくなるテストデータを記録し、
前記データ記録手段は、マークの同期信号の検出率及びスペースの同期信号の検出率がともに所定値以上となるストラテジでデータを記録する
ことを特徴とする光ディスク装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、
前記調整ストラテジは、前記基準ストラテジにおける先頭パルスの立上タイミング、あるいは前記基準ストラテジにおける最終パルスの立下タイミングの少なくともいずれかを変更したストラテジであることを特徴とする光ディスク装置。
