Description
テスト方法1−水分測定:水分は、ASTM法D2867活性炭中の水分の標準テスト方法、キシレン方法(Standard Test Method for Moisture in Activated Carbon,Xylene Method)で定められた手順で測定することができる。米国ペンシルバニア州ウェスト・コンショホッケン(West Conshohocken, PA, U.S.A.)の米国材料試験協会(American Society for Testing and Materials)(ASTM)によって発行される。
比較例1は、ベンダーから受取られた状態でテストした以外は、実施例1のURC12x30製品であった。
比較例2は、水処理を行わなかった以外は、実施例1と同じ態様で調製した。

Claims (11)
- (a)TEDAを含む少なくとも一種の固体有機化合物を複数のフィルタ媒体粒子上に昇華させるステップと、
(b)前記昇華の少なくとも一部の間、流体含浸剤を、フィルタ媒体粒子に非バルク接触によって接触させ、その中に組み込むステップと、
を包含する、フィルタ媒体を製造する方法。 - 固体有機化合物とフィルタ媒体粒子との重量比が0.1:100〜10:100の範囲内である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 更にピペラジンを前記固体有機化合物に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- TEDAとピペラジンとの重量比が1:20〜20:1の範囲内である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記流体含浸剤が水を含み、ステップ(b)が、前記粒子を、粒子100重量部に対して0.05〜2重量部の水と非バルク接触させるステップを包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水の少なくとも一部が、スチームまたは噴霧スプレーの形態である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記水が粒子と1〜120分間にわたって非バルク接触させられる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)および(b)の少なくとも一部が、減圧下で行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタ媒体粒子の少なくとも一部が、少なくとも一種の金属含浸剤を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタ媒体粒子の少なくとも一部が、Cu、Zn、又はMo含浸剤を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (a)複数のフィルタ媒体粒子と複数の固体TEDA粒子とを混合して、固体混合物を形成するステップと、
(b)該TEDAの少なくとも一部を前記フィルタ媒体粒子上に昇華させるのに有効な条件下で、該固体混合物を加熱するステップと、
(c)該固体混合物を加熱しながら、該粒子を流体含浸剤と非バルク接触させるステップと、
を包含する、フィルタ媒体を製造する方法。
