Claims (7)
- 燃焼用空気が燃焼室に供給され、前記燃焼室に取付けられる燃料噴射器によって燃料が前記燃焼室に噴射され、形成された燃料と空気の混合気が、前記燃焼室に取付けられる発火源によって予め定められた点火時期に点火される、噴射制御燃焼方法を用いた直接噴射による4工程方式の火花点火式内燃機関の運転方法において、
前記内燃機関の吸気行程において、第1の燃料量が、予備噴射量(M VE )として噴射されることにより、1を超える空気過剰率(λ)を有する均質な燃料/空気混合気が前記燃焼室に形成され、
続く前記内燃機関の膨脹行程において、第2の燃料量が、主噴射量(M HE )として前記燃焼室に噴射されることにより、1未満の空気過剰率(λ)を有する層状燃料/空気混合気雲が前記発火源の近傍に形成され、
前記主噴射量(M HE )の噴射終了後に、前記層状燃料/空気混合気雲が点火され、
前記層状燃料/空気混合気雲の点火の後、第3の燃料量が、後噴射量(M NE )として前記燃焼室に噴射されることを特徴とする4工程方式の火花点火式内燃機関の運転方法。 - 前記予備噴射量(M VE )が、点火上死点(ITDC)前、330°CA〜220°CAの範囲で前記燃焼室に噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転方法。
- 前記主噴射量(M HE )が、点火上死点(ITDC)後、10°CA〜30°CAの範囲で前記燃焼室に噴射されることを特徴とする請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記層状燃料/空気混合気雲の点火が、前記主噴射量(M HE )の噴射終了後、2°CA〜10°CAの範囲で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 排気ガス後処理のために備えられた触媒コンバータの加熱段階が、前記予備噴射量(M VE )と前記主噴射量(M HE )との間の燃料量比(M VE /M HE )を運転点に応じて前もって設定することによって制御され、前記触媒コンバータ加熱段階の終了が、前記運転点に依存する前記予備噴射量(M VE )の酸化の間に放出される反応熱から定められることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記内燃機関からのトルク出力が、前記主噴射量(MHE)、および、前記予備噴射量(M VE )と前記主噴射量(M HE )との間の燃料量比(M VE /M HE )によって制御されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
- 前記予備噴射量(M VE )と前記主噴射量(M HE )との間の燃料量比(M VE /M HE )が、0.4〜0.6の間にあるように選択されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の運転方法。
