Claims (9)
- 複数の光源の光を1つのライトガイド(1)に入力結合するための入力結合装置において、
入力結合装置が複数のフォーカシング光学系(5)を、種々異なる光源(8)からの光のために有しており、
入力結合装置が入力結合面(3)を有しており、該入力結合面(3)がやはりフォーカシングするように形成されており、
入力結合面(3)のジオメトリと、フォーカシング光学系(5)の配置とが、各光源(8)と、ライトガイド(1)の直径とに合わせて調整されており、
フォーカシング光学系(5)および入力結合面(3)が一体的に形成されており、かつ
入力結合面(3)がフレームにより取り囲まれており、このフレームにフォーカシング光学系(5)が統合されていることを特徴とする入力結合装置。 - 光源(8)当たり1つのフォーカシング光学系(5)が形成されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- フレームが円セグメント状又は球セグメント状に形成されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- 入力結合面と、フレームと、フォーカシング光学系とが、キャビティを入力結合面とフォーカシング光学系との間に画成し、入力結合面が、前記キャビティに境界を接する内面である、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- 入力結合面(3)および/またはフォーカシング光学系(5)が円セグメント状または球セグメント状に、ライトガイド(1)の端部を取り巻いて配置されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- フォーカシング光学系(5)が入力結合面(3)から間隔を置いている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- 入力結合装置が透明のプラスチックから射出成形法で製作されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- 光源(8)としてLEDが使用され、該LEDが直接にフォーカシング光学系(5)に配置されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
- 入力結合装置のジオメトリおよび光源(8)の配置が互いに、光の放出と本来のライトガイド(1)への入射との間の、発生する損失を最小に抑えるように調整されている、請求項1記載の入力結合装置。
