Description
2.0gの酸化チタン(TiO2)、3.6956gの炭酸ストロンチウム(SrCO3)、0.0124gの塩化プラセオジウム(PrCl3)及び0.3320gの水酸化アルミニウム(Al(OH)3)を、自動メノウ乳鉢を用いて10分間、粉砕・混合した。原料粉末の配合割合は、モル比で表してSr:Ti:Pr:Al=1.00:1.00:0.002:0.170である。次いで、得られた混合物をアルミナ製の坩堝に入れ、大気中、1400℃の温度で2時間加熱焼成した。焼成物を乳鉢で5分間粉砕して、比較試料の蛍光体(試料A)を得た。
原料粉末の配合割合及び加熱焼成温度を表1に記載のとおり設定し、比較例1と同様に処理して、蛍光体(試料B〜N)を得た。なお、カルシウム化合物、ランタン化合物、亜鉛化合物としては、炭酸カルシウム(CaCO3)、酸化ランタン(La2O3)、酸化亜鉛(ZnO)をそれぞれ用いた。
試料をアルミニウム板に薄く塗布したものを圧力10−5Pa以下の高真空容器に入れて、電子銃により電子線を照射して試料からの発光を観察した。電子銃は加熱された陰極から出てくる熱電子を用いるもので、電子線の加速電圧は200V〜5kVの範囲で調整でき、試料に流れ込む電子線の電流量は加速電圧と独立に調整できる。試料からの発光スペクトルをマルチチャンネル・スペクトルメータを用いて測定した。
Claims (2)
- 一般式:(Sr 1−x Ca x )TiO 3 (ただし、0.3≦x≦0.9)で表されるペロブスカイト型チタン酸カルシウム・ストロンチウムを母体とし、0.02〜5モル%のプラセオジウム及び0.5〜5モル%の亜鉛を含み、アルミニウムは含まないことを特徴とする電子線に励起されて発光する赤色蛍光体。
- さらに0.05〜5モル%のランタンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の赤色蛍光体。
