Description
この発明は、吸入作動によって肺へ薬剤を供給する装置に関し、薬剤を含む缶容器から流動性の調剤を供給するのに用いるものである。その供給装置は、患者が装置を吸入するとき、あるいは装置の缶容器部分を押すときに所定用量の薬剤あるいは他の治療薬品を供給する。
噴霧薬剤を放出する吸入装置にはいろいろなものがあるが、スプレ−で連続的に放出するか、あるいは所定用量と一般にいう予め定まった量の薬剤を放出するかのいずれかの形態である。スプレ−によるものは、患者の口や鼻部分、あるいは呼吸路の中に直接噴霧する。一般に、これらの装置は、使用者の指、ボタン操作、あるいは他の関連する手動方法で生じる圧力によって作動される。また、使用者が吸い込むことにより作動する装置もあり、一部のものは良好であるが、すべてについて変更あるいは改善が求められる。

Claims (15)
- 患者が吸い込むことによって作動する、薬剤供給のための装置であり、次の(a)〜(f)の構成を備える吸入作動装置。
(a)薬剤含有の缶容器(81)を保持するためのものであり、霧状に噴霧される所定用量の薬剤を患者が吸い込むマウスピ−ス(16)に連絡しており、前記缶容器(81)に作用する作動手段(78)があり、その作動手段(78)は開閉可能な第1の流体通路(76)に連絡している、第1の部屋(20)
(b)第2の部屋(34)を圧縮するための圧縮ピストン(38)、さらには、前記開閉可能な第1の流体通路(76)に連絡する出口手段(70)を含む、第2の部屋(34)
(c)前記マウスピ−ス(16)を保護するためのものであり、そのマウスピ−ス(16)から回転して外すことができるマウスピ−スカバ−(18)
(d)第1の端部を前記マウスピ−スカバ−(18)に回転可能に連結し、第2の端部を前記圧縮ピストン(38)に取り付け、その圧縮ピストン(38)を前記第2の部屋(34)の内部を少なくとも一方向に動かし、その第2の部屋(34)の中の流体を圧縮する移動可能なア−ム手段(50,56)
(e)前記第1の流体通路(76)を閉じた状態でシ−ルするシ−ル手段(72)
(f)前記シ−ル手段(72)を閉じた状態に保持し、しかも、使用者の吸入で生じる差圧がしきい値を越えるとき前記シ−ル手段(72)を開き、前記圧縮流体を前記作動手段(78)に作用させ、前記缶容器(81)を変位させて所定用量の薬剤を使用者に供給する手段 - 前記第1の部屋(20)には、前記缶容器(81)あるいはそのバルブステム(22)の変位に応じて前記缶容器(81)のバルブステム(22)に当たる受け部分(26)がある、請求項1の装置。
- 前記第1の部屋(20)には、前記シ−ル手段(72)を開くために必要な差圧を調整するように前記装置の内部の圧力降下を調整する大きさの開口(103,104)がある、請求項1の装置。
- 前記第2の部屋(34)には、その第2の部屋(34)の中に流体を引き寄せるための開口がある、請求項1の装置。
- 前記開口には、前記第2の部屋(34)の内部に流体を圧縮するとき、その第2の部屋(34)をシ−ルする手段(68)がある、請求項4の装置。
- 前記第1の流体通路(76)は、前記作動手段(78)と前記第2の部屋(34)との間の通路によって定まる、請求項1の装置。
- 前記シ−ル手段(72)は、前記第1の流体通路(76)の内部に配置した第1のダイヤフラムで構成する、請求項1の装置。
- 前記シ−ル手段(72)は、前記第1の流体通路(76)の内部に配置した第1のダイヤフラムで構成する、請求項6の装置。
- 前記シ−ル手段(72)を閉じた状態に保持する手段は、第1のダイヤフラムを閉じた状態に付勢力を与える圧縮ばね(98)を含む付勢手段で構成する、請求項1の装置。
- 前記第1のダイヤフラムに連結した回転可能なレバ−アセンブリ(83)をさらに備える、請求項9の装置。
- 前記回転可能なレバ−アセンブリ(83)は、それに交じ合う第2のダイヤフラム(86)を含む、請求項10装置。
- 前記第2のダイヤフラム(86)に対する差圧がしきい値を越えるとき、その第2のダイヤフラム(86)が前記回転可能なレバ−アセンブリ(83)に対し前記第1のダイヤフラムに上向きの力を生じさせ、前記第1のダイヤフラムが開くのを助ける、請求項11の装置。
- 前記薬剤を含有する缶容器(81)は、取外し可能な供給装置に操作できるように連結され、その取外し可能な供給装置が前記作動手段(78)および前記マウスピ−ス(16)を含む、請求項1の装置。
- 前記作動手段(78)は、所定用量の薬剤を供給するためのドエル時間を制御し、しかも、前記缶容器(81)を以前の作動位置に戻すための流出開口(105)を備える、請求項1の装置。
- 前記流出開口(105)が多孔質な膜である、請求項14の装置。
