Description
また、符号化方式ごとに異なる複数系統の復号器と、これら複数系統の復号器の入力段にそれぞれ信号を伝送するための線路を介して接続され、複数系統の復号器にそれぞれ入力するべくストリームを一時保持する入力バッファと、この入力バッファに保持されたストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて当該ストリームの符号化方式を判定し、この判定結果に基づいて入力バッファから当該ストリームを読み出して該当する系統の復号器に出力する入力制御部と、複数の復号器の各復号出力信号を格納し出力する出力バッファと、この出力バッファの復号出力信号を選択的に導出する出力切替部と、ストリーム切替指示信号が入力されたとき、送出系統の復号出力信号を他の系統の復号出力信号に切り替えるように出力切替部を制御する出力制御部とを具備し、入力制御部は、入力バッファ中の切替元のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータと入力バッファ中もしくは別途提供される切替先のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて、復号遅延差が1フレーム以上あるか否かを判定し、1フレーム以上ある場合に、切替元のストリームの読み出し状態でストリーム切替時から復号遅延差に相当する時間前に、入力バッファもしくはストリーム送出側から切替先のストリームを読み出して該当する復号器へ出力する。
(第1の実施形態)
図1は、この発明に係るマルチデコーダ装置の第1の実施形態の構成を示すものである。このマルチデコーダ装置では、ヘッダ部及びデータ部を備えるフレーム構造のストリームが入力され、入力バッファ部11に一旦保持される。この入力バッファ部11に保持されたストリームは、入力制御部12によりヘッダ部のデータが解析されて符号化方式が判別された後、読み出されて複数のデコーダ131〜13nのうち該当するデコーダ131に導出され、復号処理される。
入力制御部12では、入力バッファ部11に保持されるストリームのヘッダ部のデータを見てストリームの種別を判定し、該当するデコーダ131に図2(a)に示すストリームを送出する。ここで、ストリームの自動判別を行わず、手動で切り替える場合は、ストリームを出力切替器14で該当するデコーダに切り替える。
図3は、この発明の第2の実施形態として、ストリームの切替タイミングを示している。
Claims (3)
- 互いに符号化方式が異なりかつヘッダ領域及び情報領域を備えるフレーム構造の複数のストリームを選択的に切り替えて復号処理するマルチデコーダ装置において、
符号化方式ごとに異なる複数系統の復号器と、
これら複数系統の復号器の入力段にそれぞれ信号を伝送するための線路を介して接続され、前記複数系統の復号器にそれぞれ入力するべくストリームを一時保持する入力バッファと、
前記複数の復号器の各復号出力信号を格納し出力する出力バッファと、
この出力バッファの復号出力信号を選択的に導出する出力切替部と、
前記入力バッファに保持されたストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて当該ストリームの符号化方式を判定し、この判定結果に基づいて前記入力バッファから当該ストリームを読み出して該当する系統の復号器に出力し、ストリーム切替指示信号が入力されたとき、送出系統の復号出力信号を他の系統の復号出力信号に切り替えるように前記出力切替部を制御する制御部とを具備し、
前記制御部は、前記入力バッファ中の切替元のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータと前記入力バッファ中もしくは別途提供される切替先のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて、復号遅延差が1フレーム以上あるか否かを判定し、1フレーム以上ある場合に、前記切替元のストリームの復号器への出力状態で前記ストリーム切替時から前記復号遅延差に相当する時間前に、前記入力バッファもしくはストリーム送出側から前記切替先のストリームを読み出して該当する復号器へ出力することを特徴とするマルチデコーダ装置。 - 互いに符号化方式が異なりかつヘッダ領域及び情報領域を備えるフレーム構造の複数のストリームを選択的に切り替えて復号処理するマルチデコーダ装置において、
符号化方式ごとに異なる複数系統の復号器と、
これら複数系統の復号器の入力段にそれぞれ信号を伝送するための線路を介して接続され、前記複数系統の復号器にそれぞれ入力するべくストリームを一時保持する入力バッファと、
この入力バッファに保持されたストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて当該ストリームの符号化方式を判定し、この判定結果に基づいて前記入力バッファから当該ストリームを読み出して該当する系統の復号器に出力する入力制御部と、
前記複数の復号器の各復号出力信号を格納し出力する出力バッファと、
この出力バッファの復号出力信号を選択的に導出する出力切替部と、
ストリーム切替指示信号が入力されたとき、送出系統の復号出力信号を他の系統の復号出力信号に切り替えるように前記出力切替部を制御する出力制御部とを具備し、
前記入力制御部は、前記入力バッファ中の切替元のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータと前記入力バッファ中もしくは別途提供される切替先のストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて、復号遅延差が1フレーム以上あるか否かを判定し、1フレーム以上ある場合に、前記切替元のストリームの読み出し状態で前記ストリーム切替時から前記復号遅延差に相当する時間前に、前記入力バッファもしくはストリーム送出側から切替先のストリームを読み出して該当する復号器へ出力することを特徴とするマルチデコーダ装置。 - 互いに符号化方式が異なりかつヘッダ領域及び情報領域を備えるフレーム構造の複数のストリームを選択的に切り替えて符号化方式ごとに異なる複数系統の復号器により復号処理する方法において、
前記複数系統の復号器の入力段にそれぞれ信号を伝送するための線路を介して接続される入力バッファに、前記複数系統の復号器にそれぞれ入力するべくストリームを一時保持し、前記入力バッファに保持されるストリームのヘッダ領域のデータに基づいて当該ストリームの符号化方式を判定し、
この判定結果に基づいて当該ストリームを前記入力バッファから読み出して該当する系統の復号器に出力し、
ストリーム切替指示信号が入力されたとき、復号遅延差が1フレーム以上あるか否かを判定し、
1フレーム以上ある場合に、切替元のストリームの復号器への出力状態で前記ストリーム切替時から前記復号遅延差に相当する時間前に、前記入力バッファもしくはストリーム送出側から切替先のストリームを該当する復号器へ出力し、
切替元の復号出力信号から切替先の復号出力信号に切り替え導出することを特徴とする方法。
