Description
厚さは、マイクロメーターにより測定した。
JIS L 1018 カットスリップ法に準拠して測定した。なお、測定条件としては、引張速度20cm/分、つかみ間隔20cm、試料幅5cm、試験機:定速伸張形とした。
JIS L1018 A法(45°カンチレバー法)に準拠して、カンチレバーソフトネステスター(型式:CAN-45)により測定した。
得られた試験片を、四探針式低抵抗率計(ロレスタGP、三菱化学製)を用いて表面9箇所の抵抗(Ω)を測定し、同抵抗計により体積抵抗率(Ω・cm)に換算し、平均値を算出した。
堀場ジョバンイボン製LabRam800を用い、アルゴンレーザーの514nmの波長を用いて測定した。
マックサイエンス製TG−DTAを用い、空気を0.1リットル/分の流速で流通させながら、10℃/分の速度で昇温し、燃焼挙動を測定した。燃焼時にTGは減量を示し、DTAは発熱ピークを示すので、発熱ピークのトップ位置を燃焼開始温度と定義した。
アンモニア、ホルムアルデヒド、トリメチルアミン、および硫化水素に対する吸収性能を調べた。まず、得られた炭素化繊維から秤量6gのサンプル片を作製した。このサンプル片を、ガス容量13Lのデシケーター中に入れ、これに各ガスを後述する表1に示す初期濃度となるように入れ、ガス濃度の経時的変化を検知菅にて測定した。なお、比較のために、竹炭6g、備長炭6gを用い、同様のガス吸着試験を行った。
財団法人繊維評価協議会に定められる統一試験方法に従い、メチシリン耐性黄色ブドウ球菌(MRSA IID 1677)に対する抗菌性を調べた。
(静菌活性値)= Mb−Mc≧ 2.2、 但し、Mc≠0 であること
Mb:標準布(ナイロン標準白布)の18時間培養後の3検体の生菌数の常用対数値の平均値
Mc:抗菌加工布(本実施例においては炭素化繊維布帛)の18 時間培養後の3検体の生菌数の常用対数値の平均値
(殺菌活性値)= Ma−Mc >0
Ma:標準布(ナイロン標準白布)の試験菌接種直後の3検体の生菌数の常用対数値の平均値
以下の条件により炭素化繊維布帛を調製した。
加熱条件:室温(15℃±20℃)〜600℃ 昇温速度 100℃/時間
総合加熱保持時間 15時間
冷却: 自然冷却
なお、加熱開始直後は酸素分圧約150mmHg程度であった酸化性の雰囲気は、約270℃〜300℃程度の温度域において、繊維の熱分解により発生する出ガスの影響により、酸素分圧50mmHg未満の非酸化性の雰囲気となり、それ以降はこの非酸化性雰囲気が加熱終了時まで維持された。
得られた炭素化繊維布帛の表面性状を電子顕微鏡を用いて観察した。得られた結果を図1A(倍率50倍)、図1B(倍率3000倍)、図1C(倍率10000倍)に示す。

引張強度: ウェール方向3.63N、コース方向2.27N
カンチレバーソフトネステスターにより測定される剛軟度: ウェール方向18mm、コース方向17mm
厚さ:4mm
単位面積当りの質量:55.2g/m2
空気中での燃焼開始温度:439℃
D/G比:0.8
なお、図2に、空気中での燃焼開始温度を求めたTG−DTAチャート、図3に、D/G比を求めたラマンスペクトルチャートを示す。
Claims (5)
- セルロース系繊維の糸からなる織布、編布または織編布を原料繊維布帛とし、これを加熱炭素化して炭素化繊維布帛を製造する方法であって、
含水率25%未満の乾燥状態の原料繊維布帛を、当該布帛の縦あるいは横のいずれか一方向から拘束して保持し、そのまま、加熱炉内において、酸素分圧50mmHg以上の酸化性雰囲気下において、250〜350℃の温度領域まで50〜200℃/時間にて昇温し、その後、酸素分圧50mmHg未満の非酸化性雰囲気として400〜750℃の最終加熱温度領域まで50〜200℃/時間の昇温速度にて、連続して昇温し、最終加熱温度にて所定時間保持する加熱に付することを特徴とする炭素化布帛の製造方法。 - 加熱開始から最終温度での加熱終了までの総合加熱保持時間が10〜50時間であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の炭素化布帛の製造方法。
- 250〜750℃の温度領域においては、前記拘束方向において布帛に収縮による張力が加わることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の炭素化布帛の製造方法。
- 酸化性雰囲気から非酸化性雰囲気への置換は、加熱された原料繊維布帛の熱分解により発生する出ガスを利用して、原料繊維布帛の囲繞雰囲気より酸素含有ガスを追放することによって行われるものである請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の炭素化布帛の製造方法。
- 原料繊維布帛は、加熱炉内において積層された状態で配置されているものである請求項請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の炭素化布帛の製造方法。
