Description
(1)ドライプリプレグの作製
アミド酸オリゴマーを用いたウエットプリプレグでは、加温下成形中において縮合水の生成や溶剤の揮発などの問題があるので、粉末懸濁液法によるドライプリプレグを作製した。その製造装置の概略は図1に示す通りである。
(2)ドライプリプレグの成形試験
使用したドライプリプレグの仕様は以下の表2に示し、積層構成を表3に示す。成形試験は、真空バッグを有するオートクレーブを用いて、上記ドライプリプレグを真空バッグに挿入し、14kg/cm2の圧力下において370℃で1時間加熱するという加熱/加圧サイクルを採用した。
(3)樹脂粉末の粒径と脱サイズ工程の有無と樹脂含浸温度の差によるプリプレグの試作
図1に示す装置を用いて、強化繊維と同上樹脂粉末(4量体イミドオリゴマーで、平均粒径が20μm以下のもの)を用い、プリプレグの試作を行った。しかし、サイジング剤を除去せずに樹脂付着工程3に供した場合、繊維束がほとんど開繊せず、繊維束内に樹脂粉が浸入できなかったので、プリプレグの試作は全くできなかった。そこで、サイジング剤の除去を行ったものについての試作結果を表5に示す。
(4)ドライプリプレグによる小型平板および大型平板の成形試験
表5に示す試料No.2、3、5のドライプリプレグを用い、真空バッグを有するオートクレーブを使用して、上記ドライプリプレグを真空バッグに挿入し、14kg/cm2の圧力下において370℃で1時間加熱するという加熱/加圧サイクルで、成形試験を行った。積層構成を表6に示し、動的粘弾性測定器による粘弾性試験の結果を図3に示し、小形平板成形試験の結果を表7に示し、大形平板成形試験の結果を表8に示す。図3において、細線は試料No.2のプリプレグ、太線は試料No.3のプリプレグ、破線は試料No.5のプリプレグを示す。
(5)異なる平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーを用いたプリプレグの作製
図1に示す装置を用いて、同上強化繊維と表10に示す樹脂粉末の混合物(表9に示す4量体と2量体の混合物)を用いて、プリプレグの試作を行った。
(6)異なる平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーを用いたプリプレグの成形試験
表11に示すプリプレグを用い、真空バッグを有するオートクレーブを使用して、上記プリプレグを真空バッグに挿入し、20kg/cm2の圧力下において370℃で1時間加熱するという加熱/加圧サイクルで、成形試験を行った。積層構成を表12に示し、粘弾性試験の結果を図7に示し、成形試験の結果を表13に示す。図7において、細線が供試プリプレグNo3(2量体50重量%)を示し、破線が供試プリプレグNo2(2量体20重量%)を示す。図8(a)(b)は供試プリプレグNo2(2量体20重量%)の成形試験成形体の42.5倍の断面と85倍の断面を示し、図8(c)(d)は供試プリプレグNo3(2量体50重量%)の成形試験成形体の42.5倍の断面と85倍の断面を示す。

Claims (3)
- 溶媒中に、主鎖重合度の繰り返し数が4のポリイミド樹脂で平均分子量が2500以下である高い平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーの粉末と、主鎖重合度の繰り返し数が2のポリイミド樹脂で平均分子量が1200以下である低い平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーの粉末との混合物からなるイミドオリゴマー混合粉末を分散させてなる懸濁液に、サイジング剤を除去した強化繊維を浸漬した後、その強化繊維を加熱して溶媒を揮発させ、次いで、イミドオリゴマー混合粉末を加熱溶融して強化繊維に含浸させ、さらに、冷却固化することにより製造したイミドオリゴマーをマトリックス樹脂とするプリプレグ。
- 溶媒中に、主鎖重合度の繰り返し数が4のポリイミド樹脂で平均分子量が2500以下である高い平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーの粉末と、主鎖重合度の繰り返し数が2のポリイミド樹脂で平均分子量が1200以下である低い平均分子量のイミドオリゴマーの粉末との混合物からなるイミドオリゴマー混合粉末を分散させてなる懸濁液に、サイジング剤を除去した強化繊維を浸漬した後、その強化繊維を加熱して溶媒を揮発させ、次いで、イミドオリゴマー混合粉末を加熱溶融して強化繊維に含浸させ、さらに、冷却固化することによりイミドオリゴマーをマトリックス樹脂とするプリプレグを製造する方法。
- 請求項1記載のプリプレグを熱硬化してなる樹脂複合材料。
