Description
Claims (9)
- 乗客検出のためのセンサシステムであって、
フレキシブル回路物質と、
前記フレキシブル回路物質上の少なくとも1つのアンテナ及び関連する信号トレースと、
前記フレキシブル回路物質より堅い回路基板と、
前記回路基板上で前記信号トレースと接続される乗客検出回路であって、車両の座席上の乗客領域に送信されるエネルギーに応答して乗客の存在又は特性を検出するように動作し得る前記乗客検出回路と、
車両の座席であって、前記フレキシブル回路物質が少なくとも前記車両の座席内の適所に配置されている車両の座席と、を備え、
前記回路基板の一部のみがポットされ、前記フレキシブル回路物質は、前記回路基板のポットされた一部と接続するようになっており、前記フレキシブル回路物質にはアクティブ回路コンポーネントがないことを特徴とするセンサシステム。 - 前記フレキシブル回路物質は、少なくともスペーサの一部の上に収められ、前記少なくとも1つのアンテナは、少なくとも第1及び第2のアンテナを備え、前記第1のアンテナは前記スペーサの第1の側面上にあり、前記第2のアンテナは前記スペーサの反対側の第2の側面上にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のセンサシステム。
- 車両における乗客検出のための方法であって、
(a)より堅い回路基板、フレキシブル回路物質上の少なくとも1つのアンテナ及び関連する信号トレース、及び前記回路基板上の乗客検出回路に対して、フレキシブル回路物質を接続するステップと、
(b)少なくとも1つのアンテナ及び前記乗客検出回路を用いて、車両の座席上の乗客領域に送信されるエネルギーに応答して乗客の存在又は特性を検出するステップと、
(c)前記回路基板の一部のみをポットするステップと、を備え、前記一部は前記回路基板と前記フレキシブル回路物質を接続する方法。 - (d)前記フレキシブル回路物質を収めることは、スペーサの少なくとも一部の周りに収められ、前記少なくとも1つのアンテナは少なくとも第1及び第2のアンテナを備え、前記第1のアンテナは前記スペーサの第1の側面上にあり、前記第2のアンテナは前記スペーサの反対側の前記第2の側面上にあることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 乗客検出のためのセンサシステムであって、
第1及び第2のセンサを有するフレキシブル回路物質と、
第1及び第2の側面を有するセパレータであって、前記フレキシブル回路物質は前記セパレータの前記第1及び第2の側面上にあり、前記第1のセンサは前記第1の側面に隣接し、前記第2のセンサは前記第2の側面に隣接するようになっているセパレータと、
前記第1及び第2のセンサと接続される乗客検出回路と、を備えているセンサシステム。 - 前記第1及び第2のセンサはアンテナを備え、前記乗客検出回路は送信されるエネルギーに応答して乗客の存在又は特性を検出するように動作し得ることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記フレキシブル回路物質は車両の座席内に配置されており、前記乗客検出回路は前記座席に隣接し又は前記座席内にあり、前記座席から離れて間隔をあけられているエアーバッグシステムに情報を送信するように動作し得ることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のセンサシステム。
- 前記フレキシブル回路物質はテール部分を備え、第1及び第2のトレースは前記第1及び前記第2のセンサから前記テール部分に沿って延びており、前記乗客検出回路と接続していることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のセンサシステム。
- 乗客検出の方法であって、
(a)少なくともスペーサの一部の上にフレキシブルフィルムを収めるステップであって、前記フレキシブルフィルムはその上に形成される第1及び第2のセンサを有し、前記第2のセンサは前記スペーサの第1の側面に隣接しており、前記第2のセンサは前記スペーサの反対側の第2の側面に隣接するようになっている前記フレキシブルフィルムを収めるステップと、
(b)前記第1及び第2のセンサを用いて乗客の存在又は特性を検出するステップと、を備えていることを特徴とする方法。
