Claims (5)
- 複数の遠隔ユニットと中央コンピュータの間でデータ通信を提供する無線データ通信システムにおいて、
無線標準プロトコルを使用して、複数の遠隔ユニットとの間で無線通信する複数のアクセスポイントと、
前記複数のアクセスポイントに前記複数の遠隔ユニットを関係付ける、データスイッチングハブ内のルーティングリストに基づいて、前記複数のアクセスポイントへデータを送るデータスイッチングハブと、を備え、前記ルーティングリストは、アクセスポイントを それぞれの遠隔ユニットと関係付ける間に生成され、
前記データスイッチングハブを前記中央コンピュータへ接続する配線式ネットワークと、
を備え、
各々のアクセスポイントは、遠隔ユニットを識別する通信で、宛先アドレスデータに関 係なく、前記遠隔ユニットへのデータ通信の導管を提供することを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載したシステムであって、前記無線標準プロトコルは、IEEE標準802.11の通信プロトコルであるシステム。
- 請求項1に記載したシステムであって、前記配線式ネットワークは、イーサネット配線式ネットワークであるシステム。
- 請求項1に記載したシステムであって、前記アクセスポイントは、前記複数の遠隔ユニットとの間で、2.4GHzの周波数帯域でデータを送受信するシステム。
- 請求項1に記載したシステムであって、更に、無線標準プロトコルを使用して、前記複数の遠隔ユニットとの間で無線通信する第2の複数のアクセスポイントと、
前記第2の複数のアクセスポイントに前記複数の遠隔ユニットを関係付けるルーティングリストに基づいて、前記第2の複数のアクセスポイントへデータを送る第2のデータスイッチングハブと、を備えるシステム。
