Description
従って、本原理を利用したスラグの処理方法については従来より多くの提案がある。
しかし、後述のように、反応は途中で停止し、フリーライム濃度を1%以下に低下することは困難である。
しかし、後述のように、800 ℃〜300 ℃の高温にしても、反応は途中で停止し、フリーライム濃度を1%以下に低下することは困難である。
また、反応速度を大きくするために、実質的には5mm以下、望ましくは1mm以下の小径粒子のみを対象とすること、或いは、事前に破砕処理を行って新生面を生じさせることが述べられている。しかし、粒径を制限することは、それ以上の粒子の破砕、粉砕処理を要し、新たに破砕、粉砕設備が必要となり、その処理コストも高価となる。また、粉分のみでは路盤材のように、規格の粒度分布がある場合には使えないという制約が問題になる。(例えば〔特許文献3〕特許第3248514 号公報)
また、後述のように、事前に破砕処理を行っても、反応が停滞し、それ以上反応が進まない、という問題がある。
しかし、この方法では大きな加圧処理設備を必要とし、莫大な設備費用とランニングコストを要する。また設備の健全性を維持するためのメンテナンスも容易ではない。
以上述べてきたように、従来の処理方法では、十分に高い生産性を安価に得る方法を見出すことに成功しておらず、製鋼スラグ全量を生産性高く安定化処理する方法は見出されていない。
図2に示すように、遊離CaO 濃度は1時間程度で1%以下に低下することが分った。本スラグを微粉砕し、スラグ/純水比=1/5の割合で溶出pH値を測定した結果を図3に示すが、遊離CaO 濃度の低下とともに溶出pH値が低下した。最終的にはpH=12以下に安定して低減することが可能であった。なお、本明細書におけるスラグ中の遊離CaO 分析は、鉄連の統一法に拠った。

Claims (2)
- 製鋼スラグ中に存在するCaO 分を炭酸化するに際し、製鋼スラグを機械攪拌を付与しつつ、CO2 含有ガスを供給し、炭酸化反応を行わせしめることを特徴とする製鋼スラグの処理方法。
- 処理中に水の共存下において処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の製鋼スラグの処理方法。
