光源から発せられる各発振波長のレーザ光を受光する複数の受光部を有する受光素子であって、各々の受光部は交差する2本の分割線で4つの受光領域に分割されてなり、各々の受光領域で受光したレーザ光に基づいてフォーカスエラー信号をそれぞれ出力可能な受光素子と、
光源と受光素子との光経路途中に介在され、非点収差を発生する光学部品とを備え、
一の発振波長のレーザ光に対応する一の受光部を分割する2本の分割線の交差角度と、他の発振波長のレーザ光に対応する他の受光部を分割する2本の分割線の交差角度とが異なることを特徴とする光ピックアップ装置である。
Disk;略称:DVD)18aの情報記録面に記録される情報を再生する処理およびDVD18aの情報記録面に情報を記録する処理の少なくともいずれか一方の処理をするときに用いられる。前記一の発振波長は、660nmに限定されない。

Claims (3)
- 非点収差法によってフォーカスエラー信号を検出する光ピックアップ装置であって、
少なくとも2つの発振波長のレーザ光を発する光源と、
光源から発せられる各発振波長のレーザ光を受光する複数の受光部を有する受光素子であって、各々の受光部は交差する2本の分割線で4つの受光領域に分割されてなり、各々の受光領域で受光したレーザ光に基づいてフォーカスエラー信号をそれぞれ出力可能な受光素子と、
光源と受光素子との光経路途中に介在され、非点収差を発生する光学部品とを備え、
一の発振波長のレーザ光に対応する一の受光部を分割する2本の分割線の交差角度と、他の発振波長のレーザ光に対応する他の受光部を分割する2本の分割線の交差角度とが異なることを特徴とする光ピックアップ装置。 - 前記一の受光部は、2本の分割線が互いに直交し、前記他の受光部は、2本の分割線が鋭角または鈍角に交差することを特徴とする請求項1記載の光ピックアップ装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載の光ピックアップ装置を搭載することを特徴とする情報記録再生装置。
