Claims (1)
- パスライン周りに対向配置された一対のコーン型の傾斜ロールの間にパスラインに沿ってプラグを配し、被圧延材であるビレットを旋回移動させつつ穿孔圧延して継目無管を製造する方法において、
前記傾斜ロールの入口ロール径Dl(mm)と傾斜ロールゴージ部のロール径Dg(mm)との比Dg/Dl、および前記ビレットの噛み込みからプラグ先端に至るビレット回転数Nとビレットの外径圧下率Df(%)との比N/Dfが下記(1)式〜(3)式のいずれかを満足する条件で穿孔圧延することを特徴とする継目無管の製造方法。
Dg/Dl<1.1のとき、
23≦N/(Df/100)≦40 ・・・ (1)
1.1≦Dg/Dl<1.5のとき、
20≦N/(Df/100)≦44 ・・・ (2)
1.5≦Dg/Dl≦1.8のとき、
20≦N/(Df/100)≦48 ・・・ (3)
ただし、Ld:ビッレト噛み込み点からプラグ先端部までのパスライン方向の距離(mm)、Bd:ビレット外径、β:傾斜ロールの傾斜角(°)、およびRpg:プラグ先端位置での傾斜ロール間隙(mm)とした場合に、次の関係が成り立つものとする
