Description
1)下塗り塗膜中に防錆顔料と白色顔料のチタニアを含有させる;
2)チタニアを含有するポリエステル系樹脂からなる上塗り塗膜には、塗膜比重が1.75以上、2.3 以下になるようにチタニアを含有させる。
上塗り塗膜を樹脂粒子を含有する白色塗膜とすると、一般に上塗り塗膜の方が下塗り塗膜より厚いことが多いため、より多量の樹脂粒子を含有させることができる。そのため、樹脂粒子がチタニアを含有する白色樹脂粒子である場合、塗装金属板の白色度はより高くなる。また、耐ブロッキング性も著しく高くなる。しかし、この場合、光沢が徐々に低下する傾向があるが、光沢の低下は、ユーザーや用途によってはさほど問題にならない。また、樹脂粒子を上塗り塗膜に含有させると、ワキ限界塗膜厚みの増大効果も高く、ワキを発生させずに35μm程度までの厚みの塗膜を一度の塗装で形成することが可能となる。
この白色塗膜を下塗りと上塗りの一方だけに形成する場合、他方の塗膜は白色顔料を含有しない塗膜としてもよいが、好ましくは適量のチタニアを含有する塗膜とする。
基材として、溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板(片面当たりめっき付着量: 60 g/m2 、鋼板厚み0.5 mm) を使用した。この基材の両面に、シリカ系ノンクロム下地処理(日本ペイント製サーフコートE2000 、付着量: 300 mg/m2)を施した。
樹脂粒子A:ラブコロール230 (平均粒径8μm、クリア) 、
樹脂粒子B:ラブコロール215M (平均粒径8μm、白色) 、
樹脂粒子C:ラブコロール215F (平均粒径20μm、白色) 。
裏面側には裏面塗料(日本ペイント製RE599)を、塗膜厚みが7μmになるようにバーコータで塗装し、焼付け温度が200 ℃になるように乾燥させた。
こうして作製した塗装金属板を、下記の要領で、L値、外観 (ワキ発生の有無) 、加工性、耐ブロッキング性について評価した。試験結果も表1に併記する。
ワキは、乾燥後の化粧面の塗膜を肉眼で観察して、ワキが全く見られない場合を○、部分的にワキが見られる場合を△、全面的にワキが見られる場合を×と評価した。×の場合には加工性の評価は不可能である。
Claims (4)
- 下塗り塗膜と上塗り塗膜とを有する塗装金属板であって、下塗りと上塗りの少なくとも一方の塗膜が、チタニアに加えて平均粒径5〜50μmの熱硬化型樹脂粒子 0.5〜10質量%を含有することを特徴とする、白色度に優れた塗装金属板。
- 前記樹脂粒子がチタニアを含有する白色樹脂粒子である請求項1記載の塗装金属板。
- L値が95以上である請求項2記載の塗装金属板。
- 前記樹脂粒子が少なくとも下塗り塗膜に含有される請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の塗装金属板。
